Andre Agassi is reminiscing about his wife's incredible tennis career. The tennis icon has never been shy about Steffi Graf's talent, openly discussing his admiration for her. This week, as the Paris Olympics develop, Agassi took to social media to reminisce about Graf's Olympic achievements.

Agassi shared the post on Instagram, showing Graf wearing her West Germany sweatshirt and holding on to her gold medal at the Olympics as she smiles serenely for the camera. The image was taken in 1988 when Graf represented her country at the Seoul Olympics. Agassi captioned the image with a simple heart emoji.

"Casual flex..." wrote a fan.

"Love that you’re always praising her! The goat," wrote a second person.

Other tennis fans shared some statistics in the comments section, reminding the world of just how impressive Graf was as a tennis player. "Not only did she win gold at the Olympics that year, she also won all 4 Grand Slams," wrote a fan. "When Novak lost to Daniil at US Open final in 2021, I had a deeper appreciation for Steffi’s Golden Slam achievement. People don’t talk about this enough!!"

Andre Agassi sparked a reaction from die-hard tennis fans when he shared an incredible throwback photo of his wife, Steffi Graf, in a heartwarming tribute on social media.

The two-time US Open champion, who married fellow tennis superstar Steffi in 2001, posted an aptly-time photo of Steffi holding up her gold medal from when she represented West Germany at the Seoul Olympic Games in 1988.

In the photo, Steffi's blonde hair tumbled down her shoulders as she held up the medal while wearing a sports jacket with the flag of West Germany on the front.

Andre, 54, captioned the photo of Steffi, 55, with a simple love-heart emoji, no doubt a symbol of his adoration and pride of his wife. Fans flooded the comments section praising Andre for always being Steffi's biggest fan, as well as sharing their memories of the Games which took place more than 30 years ago.

"Golden Slam Greatest!" one fan said. Another wrote: "Love that you're always praising her! The GOAT [Greatest of All Time]."

A third added: "My first tennis idol. No one compared to Steffi," as a fourth commented: "I'll keep saying it since you keep doing it, bud! Please never stop crushing on her!"

Another wrote sweetly: "The absolute best, the Golden Slammer herself!! Absolutely remarkable that she withstood all the pressure and accomplished this as a teenager. The genuine GOAT."

As fans have mentioned, Steffi has many impressive credentials to her name. The former world number one won 22 major singles titles over the course of her professional career.

Some of her achievements include winning Wimbledon seven times, the French Open six times and the US Open five times.

Andre also has some big wins under his belt. The former world number one has eight grand slam titles to his name and also won a gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Andre, who is no doubt cheering on Team USA's in the tennis at Paris 2024, also shared a throwback photo of him at the Olympic Games with his gold medal, captioning simply with "US".

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are one of the most decorated tennis couples in the world, with both leaving their imprint on the sport. While Graf is an Olympian, winning gold, silver, and bronze in her career, so is Agassi. He won an Olympic gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Games.

The two married in 2001 and have two children: Jaden and Jaz. They have supported each other through their careers and lives, with Agassi introducing her to the Hall of Fame in 2004 with an emotional speech. "As I attempt to find words worthy to introduce the person that has changed my life, I realize the words have yet to be invented that are large enough, colorful enough, or true enough to express the heart and soul of this woman that I love," he said.

Former tennis player Andre Agassi and his daughter, Jaz Elle, recently celebrated Steffi Graf's historic win in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Before starting her campaign at the Summer Games that year, Graf had already completed a calendar slam ( by winning all four Majors in the same year) and was vying for her first Olympic medal.

The German's impressive campaign at the Seoul Olympics eventually earned her a Golden Slam ( winning all four Major and an Olympic Gold in the same calender year), a feat not achieved by any other female player after her in the Open Era. She defeated Argentina's Gabriela Sabatini 6-3, 6-3 in the final to clinch the gold medal.

Agassi recently commemorated the latter's 1988 triumph by sharing her picture with the gold medal at the time, on Instagram.

Agassi and Graf married in 2001 and have two children - a son Jaden and a daughter Jaz Elle. Their daughter later shared a heartfelt reaction in the comments.

The 54-year-old often gushes over his wife's achievements on social media. He recently celebrated Graf's impressive Wimbledon record, which includes seven singles titles and one women's doubles title. Additionally, in 1992, the couple won the singles titles in their respective categories at the London Major.

After securing an impressive 22 Grand Slam titles, Steffi Graf retired from the sport in 1999. However, these achievements were secondary to her desire to start a family with Andre Agassi. The 55-year-old expressed this sentiment in a 2009 interview with Daily Mail.

The former World No. 1 added that while she doesn't always remember specific moments from her career, her constant drive to do her best remains unchanged.

Unlike Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, their children, Jaden and Jaz Elle did not develop a passion for tennis. While Jaden pursued baseball and now pitches for the University of South California's team, the Trojans, his sister Jaz found her passion in dancing.

Andre Agassi proudly declared his wife Steffi Graf as his all-time 'GOAT' of tennis alongside a heartwarming trip down memory lane from the German's record-breaking triumph at the 1988 Olympics. Widely regarded as one of the greatest players ever, Graf won 22 Grand Slam singles titles during her time on the tour.

She was ranked No. 1 in the women's charts for 377 weeks, the most by any female player, and won a whopping 107 career titles over a 16-year career.

Graf's achievement as a 19-year-old in 1988, however, will live long in the memory of tennis fans. She became the first player in history to win the Golden Slam. A term coined by the media at the time, the Golden Slam was bestowed upon anybody who won all four Grand Slams and the Olympic gold in the same calendar year. Graf remains the only person in the sport's history to have achieved the feat.

Agassi recently celebrated that historic achievement on Instagram with an archived picture of Graf clad in a German jumpsuit showing off her Gold medal in Seoul.

Responding to fans in the comments section, Agassi echoed the sentiment of one fan who deemed Graf as the 'GOAT' of tennis.

Another fan cheekily suggested being her husband was a 'casual flex.' Agassi corrected him by saying that it was in fact a 'full flex.'

Agassi was no slouch on the tour himself. He won eight Grand Slam singles titles and one Olympic gold medal across 20 years on the tour. He's achieved the career Grand Slam and is the only man in the Open Era to have won a career Super Slam (career Grand Slam, plus the Olympic gold medal and the year-end championships).

Agassi and Graf's relationship has often been hailed as tennis' greatest love story. The couple tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in 2001. They have two children together, a son Jaden Gil Agassi, and a daughter, Jaz Elle Agassi.

Steffi Graf entered the 1988 Australian Open as the top seed after having won her first Grand Slam title at the 1987 French Open. She did not lose a set during the tournament, beating third seed Chris Evert 6-1, 7-6 in the summit clash to claim her first Australian Open crown.

Defending champion at the French Open, Graf once again went on to win the crown without dropping a single set. She brushed aside Belarus’ Natasha Zvereva 6-0, 6-0 in a final that lasted just 34 minutes, and what remains to be the only ‘double bagel’ Grand Slam final in the Open Era.

She didn't drop a single set en route to the finals at the Wimbledon Championships, seeing off the likes of Mary Joe Fernandez and Pam Shriver on the way. Up against record six-time defending champion, the legendary Martina Navratilova in the final, Graf remarkably overcame a one-set deficit to eventually come out on top in three sets 5-7, 6-2, 6-1.

Graf completed the career Grand Slam at the US Open, beating her Grand Slam-winning doubles partner Gabriela Sabatini 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 in the final.

She would go on to script history at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, once again getting the better of Argentina's Sabatini in the final 6-3, 6-3 to complete a truly remarkable Golden Slam.
