The WNBA season resumed tonight after a three-week break. And of course, there is much buzz surrounding these magnificent ladies, who are just as much fashion killers as they are queens of the court. Known to have fun with her stylings is Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who has been teasing her tunnel fits throughout the week.

And her first outfit since the WNBA Olympic break did not disappoint. Tonight, ahead of the Sky’s game against the Phoenix Mercury, Reese showed off a fabulous new look via the Sky’s official Instagram Story. In a video clip, Reese is seen twirling in a black Chanel minidress, wearing white sneakers, and carrying one of her favorite accessories — a tiny purse.

Following the outfit reveal, fans have now dubbed Reese with another Barbie moniker: “Chanel Barbie” — a nickname fitting for her expensive habits.

Over the course of the WNBA Olympic break, Reese spent much time in Paris cheering on her fellow women athletes — and also getting some shopping done with her besty, Jasmin Reed. She also dropped her “Reebok by Angel” collection, composed of shoes and athletic wear.

But in addition to constantly leveling up her fashion game, Reese has been using her growing platform to bring awareness to online hate. In a new video campaign, Reese shared that the Sky and the Net are using AI to block out online vitriol in an effort to “Block the Negativity, Post Up Positivity,” per the campaign slogan.

As Reese’s star continues to rise, fans are looking forward to seeing her kill it on the court, on the ‘gram, and in the tunnel.

With her ability to reinvent herself and constantly switch things up, we know that all eyes will be on Reese for the remainder of the WNBA season.

A receipt was sent to your email. Chicago Sky star Angel Reese flaunted her new fashion style on her Instagram account on Wednesday. Reese posted an Instagram story featuring a picture of herself wearing a T-shirt from Versace Jeans Couture. She accompanied a caption to go along with the selfie.

Angel Reese wore a black T-shirt featuring the brand's name along with gold chains running from top to bottom. The LSU standout wore her hair down with hairclips near her temple to complete the look.

The T-shirt is listed for $155 on Vitkac, an e-commerce website for designer clothing. As per the product description on the site, the T-shirt is made from premium quality, guaranteeing unparalleled comfort and durability. The brand defines the product as a versatile clothing choice for casual outings as well as for refined gatherings.

Reese was having an excellent rookie WMNBA season with the Chicago Sky before the Olympic break kicked. She dropped double-doubles almost every week, averaging 13.5 points, 11.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists before the break.

She is the frontrunner in the Rookie of the Year award race alongside Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark. Reese will be back on hardwood on Thursday when the Sky take on the Phoenix Mercury as their first opponents after the break.

Angel Reese made the most out of the Olympics break in the WNBA. She traveled to Paris to have a mini vacation and support the U.S. women's basketball team at the 2024 Summer Olympics. However, she had to return to the United States before she could witness the epic tussle between the USA and France in the gold medal game, which ended up with the Americans upending the hosts.

After returning, Angel Reese posted a picture of herself flaunting her natural beauty with no makeup and a new hairstyle. She accompanied a caption with the image to give her four million Instagram fans an insight into her thoughts.

The Chicago Sky star's new highlights featured multiple cornrow-like braids.

Reese is one of the most promising players in the league right now. She broke the record for the most consecutive double-doubles in a single season in her rookie year. The record was previously held by WNBA icon Candace Parker. Moreover, she has also been the leading rebounder for her franchise this season.

In the meantime, her Reese’s Pieces, as she likes to call her fans, are losing their minds. This tweet generally sums it up.

Angel Reese has split fans after arriving to Crypto.com Arena in a somewhat risque outfit on Saturday.

Reese's Chicago Sky are set to take on the LA Sparks - two days after returning to WNBA play after the league's month-long break for the Olympics.

And Reese's pregame outfit drew a polarized response online as the rookie exposed her midriff with a black crop top and wore a matching short skirt.

Some fans took issue with the outfit, with one writing under a Yahoo! Sports post, 'Who told her this was a good idea?'

Another suggested that she was a hypocrite, saying, 'I don't want to be sexualized but let me walk like a sk*nk in a skimpy outfit.'

Reese had previously accused people of sexualizing her in college as she spoke after LSU's loss to Iowa in this year's NCAA Tournament.

'I've been through so much,' she told reporters. 'I've seen so much. I've been attacked so many times, death threats, I've been sexualized, I've been threatened, I've been so many things, and I've stood strong every single time.'

Others were far more supportive of Reese's sartorial choice on Saturday.

One said, 'SHE IS HER! WOW!'

Another defended her against the nasty comments by writing, 'I’m convinced alot of yall just hate women.'

The divisive Reese has been a massive draw for the WNBA in her rookie season alongside Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.

Reese has had a strong rookie season for the Sky and was named to the WNBA All-Star team

Fanatics - the official retailer of the W - previously reported a 1000% increase in player-specific merch sales, with Clark and Reese leading the pack in No. 1 and 2 respectively, a spokesperson told TMZ in July.

Attendance is also way up, as the league announced that more than 400,000 fans went to games in May - the most in 26 years.

Reese and her bruising interior game have certainly played a role in that, as the Sky forward compiled a record 15-straight double-doubles earlier in the season.

In the Sky's first game back from the Ws break - an 85-65 loss to the Phoenix Mercury, Reese notched 11 points and 15 rebounds.

She led the way in the runway as her other teammates followed

After the Summer Olympic pause, the WNBA has resumed and also the stylish outfits that players like Angel Reese wear before the start of a game have returned. While making her way back to a United States basketball court, Angel was seen with a breathtaking dress.

The Chicago Sky social media account posted photos of players that were arriving at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, and Angel looked on point as always. She was wearing a black tight and short dress with some highlighting on white on the side. She was also seen with a small purse in gold while posing for the picture.

In the same post, her teammates were also looking astonishing. Diamond DeShields was wearing a see-through black and white blouse o top of a black strap shirt with a black skirt and boots, Michaela Onyenwere was wearing a two-piece black long sleeve blouse and short skirt with low cut boots and Isabelle Harrison was rocking a two-piece burgundy and beige sleeveless blouse and three-quarter pants with sandals.

The marketing and buzz that Angel Reese has generated in her first season is important and that is why everyone is always waiting for the arrival of the players to the arenas, so see exactly what they are wearing only for it to be a trend later.

Because of this, fans have been waiting for the WNBA to resume and the Chicago Sky have a tough opponent to try and climb up the ladder in the standings as they finished the first part of the season four games under the .500 mark.

The Phoenix Mercury is the team against Reese and company will try to finish the season strong as she focuses on the local league after her accomplishments in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games with a gold medal on her neck.
