The league leading Blaugrana face an improving opponent in Catalonia.

Barcelona will be aiming to make it nine wins from their opening 10 La Liga fixtures today as they host Sevilla in this evening kick-off in Catalonia.

With a tough Champions League fixture coming up in midweek against his old club Bayern Munich and El Classico to follow next weekend, today's match poses something of a dilemma for Barca boss Hansi Flick. With Real Madrid now level on points after their narrow win over Celta Vigo yesterday, the German boss may be reluctant to rotate for this game.

Unbeaten in their last three and currently in the middle of the standings, Sevilla appear to be coming into some form, having claimed bragging rights over local rivals Real Betis last time out with a 1-0 home win.

When and Where to Watch Barcelona vs. Sevilla

How to Watch Barcelona vs. Sevilla Live Stream

Below, we'll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the game as it happens, wherever you are in the world.

United States

ESPN's standalone streaming service costs $11 a month or $110 for an annual subscription. Read our ESPN Plus review.

How to Watch La Liga Matches When You Are Traveling

If you find yourself unable to view La Liga matches locally, you may need a different way to watch the games -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It's normally $13 a month, but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100 you'll get three months free and save 49%. That's the equivalent of $6.67 a month with code SPECIALDEAL, which should be automatically applied.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

United Kingdom

The great news for footy fans in the UK is that free-to-air broadcaster ITV will be airing selected La Liga fixtures live, including this evening's match in Catalonia.

Coverage begins on ITV4 at 7:30 p.m. BST ahead of the 8 p.m. BST kickoff. That also means you'll be able to stream the game online via the network's online ITVX service.

As the match is being broadcast on ITV4, that means you'll also have the option of watching the game online for free via the network's on-demand streaming service, ITVX (formerly ITV Hub).

The service has an updated app that's available for Android and Apple mobile devices, as well as a vast array of smart TVs.

La Liga broadcast rights in the UK are also with Premier Sports, which will be showing a minimum of five live matches per week from Spain's top league on its Premier Sports 1 and 2 channels, as well as its dedicated La Liga platform. This match will be shown on Premier Sports 1 as well as LaLigaTV.

Barcelona vs. Sevilla: A Preview

FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick will tinker with his starting line up when the Catalans host Sevilla in La Liga at the Montjuic Stadium on Sunday.

Barca is less than a week out from El Classico against bitter rivals Real Madrid, and goes into this clash in question level on points at the top after Carlo Ancelotti's men beat a game Celta Vigo 2-1 on Saturday night.

At his prematch press conference on Saturday, Flick confirmed that he will be able to boast a trio of players returning from injury.

“I can confirm that Gavi, [Dani] Olmo and Fermin [Lopez] have recovered to play,” Flick stated.

“Gavi's case is very special and I can say that he will be on the bench. Fermin is doing well and may play a few minutes. Dani has improved, he will be on the bench and we will possibly focus on Wednesday [against Bayern Munich].”

Speaking more about Gavi, Flick pointed out how “in midfield we have a lot of players who can play in various positions”.

“It's something I love, but Gavi, because of his mentality and how he channels his aggressiveness and plays with the ball, he can play as a 6, an 8... I have spoken to him about his position and more specifically these two positions,” Flick revealed.

As indicated, though, none of the mentioned three men will start, with Flick instead going for a midfield three which has Eric Garcia as the pivot providing support behind Pedri and Marc Casado.

Up top, with Ferran Torres injured, Raphinha takes back his usual berth on the left wing while Lamine Yamal, who was previously announced as having a hamstring “overload”, mans the right channel on the other side of Spain's current top scorer Robert Lewandowski.

A subscription to just Premier Sports' dedicated La Liga channel costs £8 a month.

You can also get the channel via a full subscription to Premier Sports, giving you access to all of the networks' channels, which have the UK broadcast rights to Scottish Premiership matches, BKT United Rugby Championship and Investec Champions Cup rugby, plus NHL and NASCAR.

A full Premier Sports subscription costs £10 per month for Sky and Virgin TV customers. You can also get Premier Sports through Amazon Prime Video as an add-on for £15 a month.

Canada

TSN is the rights holder for live coverage of La Liga matches in the region, with select fixtures being shown on its linear channels, and a wider selection of games being shown on its TSN Plus streaming platform. This match is set to be shown on TSN Plus.

TSN Plus is a direct-streaming service that costs CA$8 a month and also offers coverage of PGA Tour Live golf, NFL games, F1, NASCAR and the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.

Australia

Footy fans Down Under can once again watch La Liga fixtures live on BeIn Sports, which holds the live broadcast rights in Australia for Spanish top-flight matches. This match is set to be shown on BeIn Sports Connect.

BeIn Sports is available in Australia for AU$15 a month or a yearly commitment of AU$130.

At the other end of the pitch, Inaki Pena will be the starting goalkeeper for both tonight's match and a Wednesday evening encounter with Flick's former employers Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

On the back line, it is Alejandro Balde, Inigo Martinez, Pau Cubarsi and Jules Kounde from left to right.

Barcelona vs. Sevilla Predicted Lineups

What to Expect from the Match

Barcelona are bound to be buoyed by the returns of several key figures this weekend, and while Sevilla showed signs of life before the break, they have a wretched record in this fixture and it's hard to envisage them securing a result on Sunday.

Flick's coaching has allowed an injury-hit Barca to punch above their weight at the start of the new season, and their excellent start to the La Liga campaign is expected to continue on home soil ahead of a huge week which will reveal a little more about the league leaders.

La Liga leaders Barcelona are back in domestic action on Sunday night as they welcome a resurgent Sevilla to Catalonia.

Hansi Flick has enjoyed quite the start to his Barca tenure, with the German's injury-hit outfit leading the division through the first two months of the 2024/25 campaign against the odds. They've started the league season with eight wins from nine, but tougher tests await in the form of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid over the next week.

For now, though, his focus will solely be on overseeing a victory against a Sevilla side that are unbeaten in their previous three games having endured a woeful start to the season under new manager Garcia Pimienta.

Sunday's visitors currently sit 12th in La Liga despite their upsurge before the international break, and they secured a huge victory over Real Betis in the Seville Derby last time out. However, they have a wretched record against the current league leaders with their last victory over Barca arriving in 2015.

Barcelona vs. Sevilla Team News and Predicted Lineups

Barcelona's injuries forced Flick to turn to La Masia before the break, but the German should be able to welcome several senior stars back into his matchday squad on Sunday.

The boss has confirmed that Gavi, Dani Olmo, and Fermin Lopez will all make their respective returns from injury this weekend, while Lamine Yamal has avoided a major issue and will be available.

However, if Flick opts to rest the teenager with huge contests upcoming, Pau Victor could start down the right.

Frenkie de Jong likely won't be risked, and Wojciech Szczesny may have to wait a little longer to make his first start for the club.

Barcelona predicted lineup vs Sevilla (4-2-3-1): Pena; Kounde, Cubarsi, Martinez, Balde; Casado, Pedri; Victor, Fermin, Raphinha; Lewandowski.

The visitors are without the suspended Tanguy Nianzou after he was sent off in Sevilla's derby win two weeks ago, so Marcao will likely get the nod at the heart of Pimienta's defence.

Djibril Sow misses out once again due to a hamstring injury, while Saul Niguez is nursing a thigh problem.

Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga will likely have to settle for a place on the bench alongside veteran Jesus Navas and crafty playmaker Suso.

Sevilla predicted lineup vs Barcelona (4-2-3-1): Nyland; Carmona, Bade, Marcao, Pedrosa; Agoume, Gudelj, Lukebakio, Fernandez, Ejuke; Romero.
