Harry Kane will not be involved for the German giants, having been afforded a rest after reaching the Euro 2024 final with England.

A very impressive first half indeed from Bayern Munich, who deservedly lead in Seoul through Gabriel Vidovic's early goal that punished a dreadful mix-up between Guglielmo Vicario and Djed Spence.
Spurs have been firmly second best so far with Vicario kept very busy. They are lucky to only be 1-0 behind at the break.
Plenty for Ange Postecoglou to work on, but opposite number Vincent Kompany will be delighted to have witnessed such a rousing 45 minutes from his new side early on in their pre-season schedule.
They have just lacked a ruthless edge in the final third to add to their stylish build-up play and relentless press, which is understandable without the likes of Harry Kane, Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sane.
Serge Gnabry the best player on the pitch so far, with young duo Vidovic and Mathys Tel also catching the eye in attack.
Half-time
45 mins: A rare sight of goal for Tottenham as half-time approaches!
Lovely feet from James Maddison but Heung-min Son hesitates with the finish and Sacha Boey is able to disrupt.
43 mins: The pressure and high press from Bayern is just relentless so far, despite the heat.
They are looking a real cut above despite their numerous absentees and being at an earlier stage of their pre-season, a first-time strike from Raphael Guerreiro inside the box now saved by Guglielmo Vicario.
42 mins: That’s a wicked free-kick delivery from Joshua Kimmich into the six-yard box after Djed Spence’s foul on Serge Gnabry.
But Bayern quickly come again with more stylish football, Guglielmo Vicario doing just about enough to force Mathys Tel to flick wide from close range.
41 mins: A long diagonal ball from left-back picks out the ever-dangerous Serge Gnabry, who is cynically tripped from behind by Djed Spence.
The Spurs full-back picks up the first yellow card of this friendly.
40 mins: Still the pressure comes from Bayern, with Djed Spence having to make a crucial defensive header inside the six-yard box.
38 mins: Spurs do not look comfortable at all at the back as they pack the box to try and thwart this Bayern passing and movement.
Gabriel Vidovic plays another lovely pass for Serge Gnabry, who drags a shot narrowly wide of the back post.
36 mins: More lovely football from Bayern involving Gabriel Vidovic.
Tottenham are left scrambling once again as Mathys Tel drifts inside towards a crowd of bodies in the box before lashing wide of the back post.
That second Bayern goal is coming.
30 mins: Sacha Boey lofts a ball into Serge Gnabry, whose cushioned volley across the box looks to tee up Thomas Muller for an easy finish from close range.
Guglielmo Vicario dives to parry clear before the offside flag is raised.
Vincent Kompany will be very pleased indeed with the attacking intent shown by his side so far today.

You have Serge Gnabry and Gabriel Vidović on the wings, Aleksander Pavlović and Joshua Kimmich are in midfield, while the back line consists of Sacha Boey, Josip Stanišić, Kim Min-jae, and Raphael Guerreiro.

Still, this is far from a 100% fit squad, and the French and English players are still missing, so no Harry Kane. The aim of this friendly will be to test out the tactics and see what works and what doesn’t. Surely no one will freak out if the result doesn’t go as planned, right?

Tottenham Hotspur’s preseason tour continues in South Korea, and now things take a step up: Spurs take on German giants Bayern Munich for the first of two friendlies before the commencement of the 24/25 season.
It’s another quick turnaround, meaning there could be rotation once more with some new faces involved: specifically, Destiny Udogie will potentially make his return from the quadricep injury that ruled him out of the latter part of last season. Unlike the large travelling squad Ange Postecoglou has to select from, however, Bayern Munich are struggling somewhat for senior players. The likes of Harry Kane, Leroy Sane, and new signing Hiroki Ito are all injured and some of their international representatives are only just now reporting back from their breaks.
It’ll still be a fascinating match-up, one I’m looking forward to.
