The No. 22 ranked BYU Cougars faced the Baylor Bears this week while trying to avoid any slip-ups on the road and further climb the rankings with a win during this Week 5 college football showdown. This game kicked off at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET (10 a.m. MDT) on Saturday, September 28 with a live broadcast on FS1, and streaming live on demand.

On Saturday morning, Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program will take their unblemished record on the road for an away game in Waco, Texas. The Cougars will battle the Baylor Bears for the chance to improve to 5-0 as they head into the bye week. The game between BYU and Baylor is the first conference road game for BYU. Last year, BYU went 0-5 in conference road games. BYU at Baylor will be broadcast on FS1 and will kickoff at 10 AM Mountain Time. The Cougars Dominate the First Half

BYU looked like a team that carried all of its momentum from a huge win upset against Kansas State into this week’s matchup with Baylor. After the offense looked great on a 75-yard touchdown drive to open the game, the Cougar defense forced an interception that put the Bears in an early hole.

BYU controlled the ball for just 6:20 while taking a two-touchdown lead as they looked for the program’s first-ever Big 12 road win.

The Bears refused to quit fighting. They opened up the second half with a 13 play, 66-yard drive ending with a 15-yard touchdown grab by Ashtyn Hawkins. The Cougar defense struggled mightily in pass coverage.
