The frenzy surrounding Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever isn't slowing down anytime soon: the Fever have won six out of their last seven games, they broke attendance records in Atlanta when the Fever played the Dream, and Clark set a career-high scoring record during last week's game against the Chicago Sky. This week, the Fever will play the Los Angeles Sparks in Indiana on Wednesday, Sept. 4 for their third meeting of the season.

The Sparks vs. Fever game starts at 7 p.m. and will air live on CBS Sports Network and on WALV in Indiana. The game will also be available on demand on WNBA League Pass after it concludes. Are you ready to watch Caitlin Clark's next game? Here's what you need to know ahead of the Fever vs. Sparks game tonight.

The Fever Are on a Roll

The Indiana Fever made the playoffs on Tuesday night for the first time since 2016. With the pressure off, the Fever will open a six-game homestand by welcoming in the last-place Los Angeles Sparks on Wednesday night. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. EDT and will air on the CBS Sports Network, which you can live stream on fubo TV (FREE trial), DirecTV Stream (FREE trial and discount) or Paramount+ (FREE trial).

How to Watch the Sparks vs. Fever Game

Date: Wednesday, Sept. 4

Time: 7 p.m. ET

Location: Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN

TV channel: CBS Sports Network

Streaming: Fubo, DirecTV, Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV, WNBA League Pass

The Sparks are Struggling

The Sparks have the worst record in the league at 7-25, but they recently showed they should not be overlooked by any opponent. Last week, they snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 94-88 win against none other than the New York Liberty, who own the WNBA's best record. That was a full team effort with five Sparks reaching double digits, led by Dearica Hamby's 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting. Rookie Rickea Jackson was also outstanding with 19 points on 7-of-11 from the field, including four 3-pointers.

Key Players to Watch

Indiana Fever

  • Caitlin Clark: The rookie sensation continues to shine, averaging 18.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game.
  • Kelsey Mitchell: Mitchell has been a reliable scoring threat, averaging 19 points per game and providing a perfect backcourt partnership with Clark.
  • Aliyah Boston: Boston is the team's top rebounder, averaging nine rebounds per game and providing a strong presence in the paint.

Los Angeles Sparks

  • Dearica Hamby: Hamby leads the Sparks in scoring (17.5 points) and rebounding (9.8 rebounds) and is a key player for their offense.
  • Rickea Jackson: Jackson has emerged as a consistent scoring threat, averaging 12.6 points per game and providing energy off the bench.

What to Expect in the Game

The Fever are on a hot streak, having won six of their last seven games. They are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference and are looking to lock in a playoff spot. The Sparks, on the other hand, are struggling and have the worst record in the league. They are hoping to pull off an upset and spoil the Fever's momentum.

A Look Back at Previous Matchups

Indiana and Los Angeles have met twice this season and have split the series. Their last encounter was on May 28, when the Sparks won 88-82. Kia Nurse led that winning effort with 22 points and five 3-pointers. Aari McDonald scored 21 points off the bench on 6-for-12 from the field, including three triples. Indiana, meanwhile, had Clark's first 30-point game, and Boston added 17 points in 23 minutes.

Don't Miss the Game!

The Fever vs. Sparks game is a must-watch for any WNBA fan. Caitlin Clark and the Fever are on a roll, and the Sparks are a dangerous opponent. Be sure to tune in on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network to see if the Fever can continue their winning ways or if the Sparks can pull off an upset.
