Game One: CCGA 4, Webber 5
The Coastal Georgia Mariners (23-4, 4-1 TSC) suffered their first loss in 15 games in the first game of their doubleheader against Webber International (14-16, 2-3 TSC), losing 5-4.
The Mariners struck first with a pair of runs in the first inning, but the Warriors answered back with a run in the bottom of the second and two more in the third. CCGA regained the lead with a run in the top of the third, but Webber tied the game in the fifth and won it with a run in the bottom of the seventh.
Game Two: CCGA 7, Webber 5
The Mariners bounced back in game two, winning 7-5. CCGA scored all five of their runs in the fifth inning on four hits and three errors by the Warriors.
The Mariners are now 24-5 overall and 5-1 in the TSC. They will face Webber International again in the rubber match of the series on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
