Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes (2-1) look to take another step towards bowl eligibility when they host the Baylor Bears (2-1) on Saturday at Folsom Field. Both teams are looking to qualify for the postseason after disappointing seasons in 2023. The Buffs are looking to keep momentum going after beating in-state rival Colorado State 28-9 in Week 3. Shedeur Sanders threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns, and two-way star Travis Hunter caught 13 passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns and intercepted a pass in the win. The Bears have the top-ranked pass defense in the country, allowing only 75.7 passing yards per game. Baylor defeated Air Force 31-3 in Week 3, and leads the all-time series 9-7.
How To Watch Colorado vs. Baylor
Kickoff in Boulder is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. The Buffaloes are 1-point favorites in the latest Colorado vs. Baylor odds via SportsLine consensus, and the over/under is 51.5 points. Before making any Baylor vs. Colorado picks, you need to see the Week 4 college football predictions and betting advice from SportsLine's Jimmie Kaylor.
Expert Predictions: Baylor vs. Colorado
Kaylor is an NFL, college football and DFS expert for SportsLine, who has covered the NFL and college football for close to a decade as a member of the Pro Football Writers of America. His background as a former college football All-American and NFL player gives him a unique perspective when building his fantasy lineups and locking in his betting picks. He has his finger on the pulse of the college football landscape and has been cashing in big for the last two years.
Kaylor destroyed the books in college football in 2023, netting a whopping 57.9 units while posting a 107-45-2 record. Anyone who followed his picks finished the season way up.
Now, Kaylor has dialed in on Colorado vs. Baylor on Saturday and just revealed his picks and predictions. You can head to SportsLine now to see his picks. Here are the college football odds and college football betting lines on the spread, money line, and over/under for Baylor vs. Colorado:
Baylor is coming off a hard-fought win over Air Force. Given the Falcons' style of play, it can often take opposing teams two or more weeks to completely recover physically, which could bode well for the Buffs. On top of that, teams that travel to Colorado have to deal with the altitude, which could come into play late in Saturday's game.
Colorado's X-Factor: Travis Hunter
The Buffs also have a massive X-factor in cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter. The former five-star recruit is among the best players in the country at two completely separate positions, and he has the ability to single-handedly alter the trajectory of games. Hunter enters Saturday with 30 catches for 342 yards and five touchdowns on offense, and 11 tackles, two pass break-ups and an interception on defense.
Weather Could Play a Role
There is a strong chance of rain in Boulder on Saturday night, which would play into Baylor's favor. Colorado throws the ball more than any other team in the country, and it's hard to imagine rain not having an effect on Shedeur Sanders and CU's potent passing attack. The Buffs have the fourth-worst rushing offense in the country, averaging 61.3 yards per game, and the weather could force them to rely on their running game.
Baylor's Advantage: The Running Game
Offensively, Baylor has a favorable matchup against Colorado's defensive front seven. The Buffs are allowing 145.7 rushing yards per game, and have struggled against teams that are physical on the line of scrimmage. The Bears enter Saturday averaging 167.3 rushing yards per game with running backs Dawson Pendergrass (30 carries, 144 yards, one touchdown) and Richard Reese (35 carries, 140 yards, one touchdown) leading the charge.
Kaylor's Prediction
Kaylor has analyzed Colorado vs. Baylor from every angle and he's leaning Under on the point total. He has also discovered a critical X-factor that has him jumping all over one side of the spread. He's only sharing what it is, and which side to back, at SportsLine.
Can Colorado Pull Off The Upset?
So who wins Colorado vs. Baylor on Saturday at Folsom Field in Boulder, and what critical X-factor makes one side of the spread a must back? Visit SportsLine now to see which side of the spread to jump on, all from the expert who profited $5,790 for $100 college football bettors in 2023, and find out.

This weekend, the Baylor Bears will play the Colorado Buffaloes in a football matchup that marks Colorado's return to the Big 12 conference after spending 14 years in the Pac-12. The Buffaloes will host the Bears at Folsom Field in Boulder, and while it's likely that Shedeur Sanders will start as quarterback for the Buffaloes, there's debate over whether Sawyer Robertson or Dequan Finn will assume the position for the Bears on Saturday night. With Finn still recovering from an injury that kept him out of last week's game, Baylor head coach Dave Aranda has not yet determined who will lead the team's offense this weekend.
