Gardaí are investigating the death of a cyclist whose body was found in the early hours of Sunday at Cloonchambers, Castlerea, Co Roscommon. "Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances around the discovery of a cyclist at approximately 2am in the early hours of Sunday 15th September 2024 at Cloonchambers, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon."
The cyclist, a man in his 50’s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
"His body has been conveyed to Roscommon University Hospital," the statement continued.
