The Big Scream NEIC Halloween Community Festival 2024
Running from October 22nd to October 31st, The Big Scream Festival is part of the NEIC Halloween Community Festival, featuring activities across Dublin 1. This includes funfairs, a haunted house, a doggy dress-up parade, spooky history walks, and film screenings. The big finish is the spooktacular Big Scream Carnival on October 31st, where local families can enjoy free rides on the Ghost Train along the Canal.
Paranormal Investigation at the Mansion House
For those seeking a more thrilling experience, the Mansion House hosts the brand-new event, ‘Paranormal Investigation,’ over four days starting Wednesday October 30th. 1,500 teenagers will venture through the eerie rooms and haunted halls, delving into the supernatural, experiencing hair-raising special effects, and chilling ghost stories from Dublin's past.
Dublin's Liberties Community-Led Halloween Extravaganza
The Liberties Haunt Festival promises a wickedly good time for all ages with carnival games, street performers, and live stage acts. Taking place from 5.00pm – 8.00pm at Thomas Court, Opposite St. Catherine’s Graveyard, the festival also offers free goodies distributed throughout the night.

- Crumlin Halloween Festival: A spooky family festival with a Dress up Bike Parade, ghost train, obstacle course, face painting, balloon modellers, and more. Taking place in Eamonn Ceannt - Park Velodrome from 12pm to 4pm on October 31st.
- ‘Booh! Cabra/Glasnevin Halloween Festival’: Enjoy giant outdoor movie screens, fire/pyrotechnic performances, magic shows, and more from Sunday 28th to Thursday 31st October. This event is organized by Dublin City Council Central Area Office in collaboration with local residents.
- Finglas Fright Night Halloween Festival: This family-friendly event at the Finglas Civic Centre, Mellowes Road, features carnival rides, games, music, magic, and dance on Tuesday 31st October from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.
- Darndale Together After Dark: Enjoy music, street theatre, DJ, dance, circus carousels, and fireworks at the Darndale Belcamp Village Centre on Thursday 31st October 2024, from 4 – 7pm.
- D10 Halloween: A diverse programme suitable for all ages with a Zombie Run, Haunted House, Halloween Hullaballo, spooky film screening, and a Firework Spectacular.
- Ballymun Otherworld Festival: Live entertainment, a Witchesbrew Café, Circus Gerbola, funfair rides, arts and crafts, and a spectacular Firework display at Trinity Comprehensive School grounds on Thursday 31st October from 6pm – 9pm.
- Dockers & Demons: The annual Halloween festival brings the Ringsend, Irishtown, and Docklands communities together with a series of spooky performances, interactive workshops, and more from the 25th October – 1st November.
