EastEnders star Thomas Law, who returned to the role of Peter Beale last year after a 13-year absence has reportedly found love with a stunning camera assistant. The actor, who is currently playing Peter on the BBC soap after reprising his role, is reportedly loved-up with his new love interest Taylor Jane. According to The Sun, things are getting serious between the actor, best known for playing Cindy and Ian Beale's son Peter on EastEnders, and camera assistant Taylor, as they have reportedly gone Instagram official after months of dating.
The publication reported that the couple "looked smitten" on a recent day out at Whipsnade Zoo in Dunstable where the lovebirds reportedly couldn't contain their smiles as Thomas wrapped his arm around his girlfriend. A source reportedly told the publication: "They've been dating a while but have only just started posting each other on social media." The publication claimed that Taylor has also tagged Thomas in a photo on social media and added a red love heart emoji. She's also been visible in the comment section of some of his recent Instagram posts.
Thomas Law's Career Before and After EastEnders
Tom previously played teenage Peter Beale between 2006 and 2010. After Thomas’ exit in 2010, Peter was played by Ben Hardy and Dayle Hudson. But Thomas recently admitted that he wasn’t able to watch the show knowing his character was being played by someone else. Thomas was the fifth actor to take over the role in 2006 and left four years later to pursue other acting avenues. He starred in The World’s End and A Cinderella Story.
Peter’s return was initially implied in June last year, along with his parents, Ian and the long believed dead Cindy Beale. As well as the soap, he’s best known for his role as DC Eddie Martin in ITV crime drama The Bay, appearing in the show between 2021 and 2023 – a role he has now quit to return to EastEnders. His other roles include children’s show Sadie J, Sky comedy drama Living The Dream, and sci-fi comedy The World’s End.
Speaking of his return to Walford last year, Thomas has said: "Over the years, I had hoped for a return to the Square although I never thought it would happen so it’s an absolute delight to be back in Walford as Peter Beale. It’s been great to see familiar and new faces, and I can’t wait to explore the character again in the wake of Cindy’s return – it’s an exciting time to return!"

Peter Beale's Memorable Storylines
Thomas plays Ian and Cindy Beale's eldest son, Peter from 2006 and 2010. His character has been involved in some of the show’s most iconic storylines, including the gripping Who Killed Lucy Beale whodunnit in 2014 that saw younger brother Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) imprisoned for his sister’s death. Peter left Albert Square in 2022 after clearing out his grandmother Kathy’s business account, and was living in France with his estranged mother, Cindy - after it was revealed she had come back from the dead. His character then returned last year alongside dad Ian and mum Cindy. While his on/off on screen girlfriend Lauren Branning, played by Jacqueline Jossa, also returned to Walford with their son Louie.
