Topi Keskinen is set to follow in the footsteps of his former hero Wayne Rooney on Tuesday night by gracing the hallowed turf at Wembley Stadium.
The 21-year-old - who joined Aberdeen from HJK Helsinki last month - made his senior international debut for Finland on Saturday in a 3-0 loss away to Greece.
He is now preparing to make his first ever appearance at Wembley when Finland take on Group B2 leaders England in the UEFA Nations League.
Ahead of Tuesday's game, one of Keskinen's tattoos has gained a lot of attention.
Keskinen has a large piece of inkwork on his left arm. Part of it bizarrely features ex-England captain Rooney holding a fishing rod.
'It has become a bigger deal than I thought it would, especially since I moved to Scotland.'
'I was a United fan as a kid and also a fan of Rooney. I also love fishing.'
Rooney scored 253 goals in 559 games for United between 2004 and 2017.
He also netted 53 times in 120 appearances for England, making him his country's leading scorer before Harry Kane broke that record in March last year.
Kane has since moved onto 66 goals for the Three Lions and is expected to earn his 100th cap on Tuesday.
Keskinen has featured in three games for Aberdeen since moving to Scotland on August 12.
He scored on his debut in a 1-0 victory over Queen's Park in the Scottish League Cup, before making further appearances in Premiership wins over Kilmarnock and Ross County.
Rooney's Inspiration
Keskinen's tattoo has been a talking point since he moved to Scotland, particularly given its rather unique subject matter. The striker revealed that he was a fan of Rooney's playing style and admired his goal-scoring prowess. He also admitted that he was a keen fisherman, hence the addition of the fishing rod in the tattoo. Keskinen's tribute to Rooney is an unusual one, but it's a testament to the impact that the former England captain had on his young fan.
England's Challenge
While Keskinen may have a special connection to Rooney, he will need to put aside his admiration for the former Manchester United striker and focus on helping his country pull off an upset against England. Finland will be looking to build on their recent performances, having won their last three games before losing their opening Nations League match to Greece. They will be up against a tough opponent in England, who are coming off of a 2-0 victory over the Republic of Ireland and will be looking to maintain their winning momentum.
The Next Chapter
The match between England and Finland is set to be a fascinating one, as the two nations battle for supremacy in Group B2 of the Nations League. England will be hoping to continue their winning streak and secure qualification for the next stage of the competition. Finland, on the other hand, will be looking to pull off a major upset and prove that they are a force to be reckoned with on the international stage. It's a clash that could have major implications for the future of both teams, and one that promises to be full of excitement and drama.
