Award-winning journalist Paul Byrne has announced he's going back on the airwaves as he's landed a new role at Cork's 96FM. The former Virgin Media reporter will start his new job as producer of The Opinion Line with PJ Coogan next Monday (4th November). While a lot of his work will be behind the scenes, bosses have confirmed he will make the odd appearance as presenter when needed.

Paul has been running his own news site 'Paul Byrne Media' over the past three months after stepping down as Southern Correspondent for Virgin Media back in June.
