American punk act turned stadium rockers Green Day have finally announced their much anticipated Australian tour. The global superstars – Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool – will be performing three shows in Australia next March as part of their worldwide The Saviors Tour. The tour is in support of the band's new album, Saviors, but will also feature full performances of their classic albums Dookie (1994) and American Idiot (2004). This will be the first time Green Day has performed in Australia since 2017.

The Saviors Tour begins in Melbourne at Marvel Stadium on Saturday, March 1 and continues in Sydney at Engie Stadium on Monday, March 3 before the final gig at Gold Coast's CBUS Super Stadium on Wednesday, March 5. The band will also be joined by fellow punk rockers AFI.
