Hailee Steinfeld was “in the City of Love with my love.”
The actress and boyfriend Josh Allen went Instagram official via a post to Allen’s account from Paris on July 23, and Steinfeld has shared the details of what went down when the two took their romantic vacation. The Marvel star , 27, recounted her experience and recommendations in her Beau Society newsletter on Thursday.
“What makes Paris Paris is its specificity,” she wrote. “I think about my most recent trip often.”
One of the most important tasks on the trip: to find an intimate view of the Eiffel Tower so Allen, 28, could see it for the first time.
“Before this trip, I was stalking Instagram and TikTok to try and find the best place to see the Eiffel Tower at night — it was important to me to find a good spot because it was Josh’s first time seeing it,” she explained. “As if by fate, we had a dinner reservation at Gigi, and the balcony offered us the best view I could’ve imagined. We got all our pictures there.”
A few months earlier, Allen was asked whether he had seen the rumors about him being seen “making out with his girlfriend.”
“The fact that anybody cares about that still blows my mind,” he said on the August 2023 episode of the “Pardon My Take” podcast.
His Eiffel Tower post, captioned, “Onward 🤘🏼,” put the rumors to rest.
Steinfeld shared more of her recommendations based on her experience with Allen. It included a trip to the Montmartre district, where she recommends visitors go without a plan and simply see where the cobblestone streets take them.
“But if you happen to stumble upon Pink Mamma, stop in for lunch. Eat at the bar in front of the kitchen, if you can,” she added.
And of course no trip to Paris is complete without food — and lots of it. Steinfeld recommends visitors “eat all the chocolate croissants” and explained how she and Allen went about assessing them.
“Every morning we went on a hunt for the perfect chocolate croissant,” she wrote. “We went to random places and ordered a chocolate croissant and we’d rate them 1-10.”
Allen and the Bills open the 2024 regular season on Sunday, September 8, at home against the Arizona Cardinals. We’ll see if Steinfeld is there in her favorite jersey.
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is already on the road to being an NFL MVP candidate this season after finishing their Week 1 victory over the Arizona Cardinals with two rushing touchdowns and three passing touchdowns plus connecting with a whopping nine different pass catchers. But Allen isn’t just winning on the field.
It seems Allen’s love life is also taking off, as he’s just recently gone public with a woman he’s been dating since around May of last year. That woman is singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld.
Steinfeld got her big acting break at a young age when she played in the 2011 Coen brothers film “True Grit” at just 14 years old, a role that got her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress and earned her a Critics Choice Award for Best Young Performer.
She later starred in the “Pitch Perfect” film series, which showed the world how talented she is as a singer as well. She performed an original song called “Flashlight”, which got her a deal with Republic Records. She released a single called “Love Myself” followed by her debut EP “Haiz” in 2015. She later released a series of successful singles and in 2020 released her second EP, “Half Written Story”.
Her acting career has been even more successful than her musical one. In addition to her roles in “True Grit” and “Pitch Perfect”, Steinfeld has starred in (among others) “Ender’s Game” (2013), “Begin Again” (2013), “The Edge of Seventeen” (2016), and “Bumblebee” (2018), and was the voice of Gwen Stacy in “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”. In 2020, she became a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the new Hawkeye. She’s signed a multiproject deal, ensuring that she will return to play Hawkeye in all future movies and shows.
Just ahead of the Bills’ season opener last week, Steinfeld revealed that her Netflix series “Arcane: League of Legends” will release a second and final season in November. Steinfeld stars as Vi in the animated series inspired by Riot Games’ League of Legends online game.
The rumors of Allen and Steinfeld’s relationship began back in May 2023, when they were spotted together in New York and again later in Los Cabos, Mexico. Steinfeld was also spotted out shopping for Buffalo Bills’ gear in New York with Allen’s mother.
In July 2024, Allen finally made the relationship public and Instagram official when he posted a photo of them together in Paris, France.
Steinfeld actually posted photos from that same trip back in April 2024, but the pictures were only of her, though it now seems quite likely Allen was the one who took the photos. Last month, Steinfeld debuted her newsletter, Beau Society. In her fifth issue, she actually spoke about the Paris trip with Allen. “What makes Paris Paris is its specificity,” she wrote. “I think about my most recent trip often. I was in the City of Love with my love (highly recommend).”

Although Steinfeld attended almost all of the Bills games last season, she has tried her best to stay away from the cameras and keep a low profile. Now that the relationship is more public than before, however, that might become more difficult.
Even after Allen posted the photos in July, he still remained a bit private about the relationship. In an August interview with “Up & Adams” reporter Kay Adams, she referred to him as “Mr. Hard Launch”, to which he just said, “we love love”. Allen’s teammate, tight end Dalton Kincaid, was a little more direct, saying, “I think everybody’s kind of known about it. Hailee’s awesome.”
While Steinfeld is typically out of sight at Buffalo Bills games, she usually is in one of the suites quietly supporting her boyfriend Josh Allen. It’s sweet, because Allen supports his talented actress girlfriend by wearing some of Beau Society merchandise, a brand that is associated with Steinfeld.

In a newsletter post titled “Hailee + Paris = Beau,” Steinfeld wrote about her trip to Paris with Josh Allen, sharing a photo from the excursion too.

One Bills fan commented on Allen’s smile. “He looks so much happier and I like that she goes to some games but is always low key about it,” the fan wrote on Facebook.
Apparently in the Paris newsletter, Steinfeld pokes fun at the fact that Josh Allen ripped his pants in Paris.
Hopefully there will be more tidbits through Beau Society and some Josh + Hailee sightings now that their relationship has gone public.
