The highly anticipated romantic film Hello, Love, Again will close the 10th Asian World Film Festival. Stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards are set to attend the screening on Nov. 20 at the Culver Theater in California.

In an announcement shared on its website, the film festival will be opened with the South Korean drama A Normal Family and will culminate with Hello, Love, Again, a sequel to the 2019 hit Hello, Love, Goodbye.

ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema and GMA Pictures’ groundbreaking film collaboration picks up from Joy (Kathryn) and Ethan’s (Alden) respective complexities in their new lives five years after Joy moved to Canada from Hong Kong to pursue her dreams.

Kathryn and Alden’s Love Story Continues

As their paths cross again unexpectedly in Canada, will the two get to rekindle their romance and finally get their chance to be together? Or amid their sacrifices and loneliness in a foreign land to provide for their families, will the two OFWs remain ill-fated in love?

Hello, Love, Again is directed by the well-loved rom-com director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, who was also behind Hello, Love, Goodbye.

Among the cast members are Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Jennica Garcia, Kevin Kreider, Jobert Austria, Mark Labella, Marvin Aritrangco, and Ruby Rodriguez, to name a few.

Hello, Love, Again: Global Release

Apart from the Philippines, the film is set to show across US and Canada beginning Nov. 15 and is slated to have the widest North American release to date for a Filipino film.

It will also be showing in Australia (Nov. 14), New Zealand (Nov. 14), Guam (Nov. 15), Saipan (Nov. 15), Singapore (Nov. 28), Malaysia (Nov. 28), the Middle East (Nov. 28), Cambodia (Nov. 29), and Hong Kong before the month ends.

The film will likewise have a midnight screening in 72 cinemas across the Philippines on Nov. 13.

A Global Festival

“Hello, Love, Again” is among the films that will screen at this year’s Asian World Film Festival in Los Angeles.

The festival announced that it kick off on November 13 with the South Korean drama “A Normal Family” as the opening film. It will be closed by “Hello, Love, Again” on November 20.

Other films included are “In the Mood for Love” (Hong Kong), “The Wrestler” (Bangladesh), “Meeting with Pol Pot” (Cambodia), “The Antique” (Georgia), “Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In” (Hong Kong), “Lost Ladies” (India), and more.

“Hello, Love, Again,” headlined by Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo, is the sequel to their 2019 blockbuster hit "Hello, Love, Goodbye." It continues the story five years after Joy left Hong Kong for Canada.

Final Curtain Call for Joy and Ethan

The film will be the final chapter in Joy and Ethan's story, marking the end of their journey in the Hello, Love series. It remains to be seen if the film will be a fitting conclusion to the iconic love story, but one thing is for sure: fans will be excited to see what happens next in their lives and if they can finally find true love in a foreign land.
