The Explorers enjoyed a successful season, finishing with an 11-1 league record and a 14-7 overall record. They secured the No. 2 seed in the Northeast Region, showcasing their strength and competitiveness throughout the season. While their ultimate goal of a state championship was narrowly missed, their performance under the leadership of St. Pierre was truly remarkable. Their only league loss came against Shaker Heights, a powerhouse team that consistently challenges for the top spot in the region. Hudson also managed to claim victories over notable opponents like Magnificat (1-0) and Hawken (2-0).
