An enjoyable and even half.
Both captains have netted with Ryan Yates opening the scoring from distance before Jamie Vardy finished off on the back of some neat work from Harry Winks.
Forest have looked the more likely but it has been quite end-to-end and Nuno will not like that. He'll be making his way down from the press box to the changing room now.
More goals in it, I would wager.
Leicester give the ball away in their own third to the groans of their supporters.
Hudson-Odoi finds Wood - who has been quiet today - but his tame effort is blocked.
Vardy then has a sniff at the other end but it is just a sniff indeed.
That's your lot for this half, which ends with a Mavididi effort going wide.
Forest are happy to let Leicester have the ball and they look comfortable when they do. But on the counter, it's a different story. Moreno goes into the book for bringing down Fatawu. Wouldn't want to play most of the game with that.
Vardy has small chance in the box but he can't get the ball out his feet.
Two minutes added on.
A fantastic ball down the right finds Buonanotte, who plays a low pass into the middle of the area.
That's cleared, but another cross goes in and Aina has to head out for a corner.
Winks crosses. There are one or two penalty appeals. But it eventually goes out for a goal kick. Shout have been a corner.
Pereira goes into the book for bringing down Elanga about 35 yards from goal. He's struggled a bit in his first taste of action this season.
Elanga himself is going to shoot.. he does, and it's into the wall.
The attack continues through Hudson-Odoi and he shoot from distance. Hermansen saves again.
There are absolutely more goals in this.
Forest are creating chances at will and Leicester do look a bit all at sea but the quality hasn't been there to take the chances so far.
Leicester look threatening too. Elanga wants a free kick as he tries to run through but Justin does well.
WHAT A SAVE!
It should be 2-1 to Forest! A corner is won by Murillo and it falls to Dominguez at the back post, who is in absolute acres.
He really should score. He's about a yard out. But Hermansen, from nowhere, flies out and blocks it. He's mobbed by his team-mates. Some save.
There's a huuuuuge gap in the Forest midfield and Harry Winks drives forward and follows his pass.
He follows it all the way to the left wing and put a cross in. Who's on the end of it? Jamie Vardy, who gets between Milenkovic and Murillo to equalise.
As you were. And there goes my FPL clean sheet.
Forest have their tails up now.
Elanga runs at Pereira and tries to stand the ball up to the back post but no one is there.
All the noise is coming from that away end.
Hold on - there's the equaliser!
On the overall basis of play, I'd say Forest deserve to be ahead.
It's poor from Leicester. They fail to clear the corner - Buonanotte decides to try and dribble out and loses the ball. Justin's clearance is poor too - and Yates shoots from distance.
Hermansen should probably do better. But he doesn't and Forest are ahead. Ryan Yates, he is one of their own. So the fans sing.
Both sides are feeling each other out, to be honest. It's a very even game so far.
I feel as though there's a clear game plan for Leicester to get Fatawu and Mavidid one-on-one with their full backs. So far Aina and Moreno are winning those battles.
A Forest corner now. It comes out to Yates... GOAL!
Nuno is in the press box tonight, Sky have just shown. He's serving the second of a three-match touchline ban after being set off against Brighton.
Moreno wins a corner for Forest, who have enjoyed the better of play so far. Elanga gets a frosty reception as he goes over to take it.
Okoli clears on this occasion with Milenkovic on the floor.
A bit of possession now for Leicester. Buonanotte picks up the ball in a central area and runs at goal but his effort is deflected.
A bit of pinball from the corner but Forest eventually clear.
Good build-up though after that and the period of play ends with a header wide from Ndidi.
An early foul by Pereira on Hudson-Odoi gives Forest the chance to put the ball in the area, looking for the likes of Wood and Milenkovic.
Elanga whips it in and it just about goes all the way through. Claims that it took a touch of Justin, who is in at left back with Pereira in the squad for the first time this season, fall on empty ears.
Leicester are looking to play out with the Portuguese playing an inverted role.
We're underway.
The Leicester fithful are loud and proud.
Just before the game, we pay a period of silence and hear The Last Post as it's Leicester's last home game before Remembrance Sunday.
Right then!
The time for talking is done. The teams are on their ways out at the King Power Stadium.
We will be underway in a matter of moments.
The next round of the Premier League is upon us.
Well, most of the photos in our system are taken up by Jamie Carragher in a massive Robin Hood suit, but among that there are some warm-up pictures.
We have around 15 minutes to go until kick off. It's a cold one - about 14 dgegrees but set to drop to 12 - so the gloves are out.
I mentioned Fatawu earlier, and there's good reason.
It only took a brief scan of Match of the Day to see how he impacted the game at Southampton. But watching the game, he truly was the game changer.
He came on, hit the bar, and set up Facundo Buonanotte for his side's first goal. The 20-year-old is a very, very exciting winger.
Tom has written a little bit more on him. And you can read that below:
Word on the street is that the mascot battle between these two teams is just as serious as the rivalry on the field.
There was a little race that took place a few minutes ago. Filbert Fox representing Leicester, Robin Hood for Forest. Robin Hood won the battle, and then revealed himself to be Jamie Carragher!
Apparently he was going up against a personal trainer. Gary Neville revealed after that it was asked if he could go in the Fox costume, but his request was declined.
Steve Cooper, Leicester manager, Sky Sports:
I was scrolling through social media looking for some quotes a little earlier and Leicester have shared this on X. Hot take.
It's probably tongue in cheek, but Jamie Vardy is just funny, isn't he?
He'll be sure to rile up the away fans again tonight. Especially if he scores.
For Nottingham Forest, things truly are looking better than last season.
They have been rock solid at the back so far and already boast results against Liverpool, Chelsea and Brighton this season.
They are, as I said, looking up rather than down. Nuno has got them settled, and they could go fifth tonight.
Nottingham Forest back in Europe - they couldn't... could they?
Leicester are riding the crest of a wave tonight having got one over on fellow promoted side Southampton last time out.
They had trailed 2-0 but Russell Martin's side (how's he still in a job, by the way?) collapsed and the Foxes scored with almost the last kick of the game to win the game 3-2.
That was their second win of the campaign having beaten Bournemouth away before that, and they're suddenly now looking for three in a row.
This is, indeed, Steve Cooper's old stomping ground. Well, he's at home, but he's facing Forest.
I make this the first time he's taken on his old side since leaving at the end of last year. He took charge of a total of 108 games, taking the club from the relegation zone in the Championship all the way to survival in the Premier League.
He will always be respected at the City Ground, but tonight is about business and getting three points for his team. No hard feelings between himself and Nuno, I'm sure, who has taken Forest to new heights, it seems.
Nuno has, as expected, named an unchanged side from the one that beat Crystal Palace on Monday.
That means Ola Aina and Alex Moreno continue at full back with Elliott Anderson looking to impress again in an attacking area.
The in-form Chris Wood again leads the line. Morgan Gibbs-White misses out again.
Abdul Fatawu gets the nod from the start today after his scintilating cameo against Southampton.
He replaces Bilal El Khannouss. Elsewhere, Ricardo Pereira is in for Victor Kristiansen with it looking at though James Justin will switch to left back, and Harry Winks is in for Oliver Skipp.
Feels like a more settled team with a sprinkle of talent in attacking areas. Good stuff.
This game is often referred to as the east Midlands derby. And tonight is the 109th meeting between the two teams.
To put it simply, these are the two most successful teams in the region and that's why they hate each other.
There's 22 miles between the two grounds and the last time they faced off was January 2023, when Forest won 2-0 - the year Leicester were relegated.
Anyway, now the history (or maybe geography?) lesson is over, we have some team news on the way.
Tonight might not look like the most thrilling of games - it's eighth versus 14th - but these are two teams who are having really intriguing seasons so far.
Forest, after a relegation battle last season, are doing really well under Nuno. They have lost just one of their eight matches and will go fifth with a win, and will feel they can truly start to finally look up rather than down.
Leicester faced an uncertain future after Enzo Maresca left and with a potential points deduction lingering, but that's now settled and, with two wins under their belts, will feel settled.
They have scored in every Premier League game so far this season and face a tough task tonight but will fancy their chances at home.
Oh, and it's a derby.
