A MUM of three, who died following a tragic accident, has been remembered as a “peaceful person” with an “infectious smile”.

Heartbreaking tributes poured in for Jean Conlon Kessler who passed away on Monday.

Jean is survived by her husband, Tristan, sons Zephyr and Mason, daughter Connie, her mother, Denise, and sisters Valerie and Susan.

She is predeceased by her loving father Pat.

Jean will be “forever missed” by her family, friends, colleagues and neighbours.

The Westmeath woman, who was living in Limerick, will be laid to rest on Saturday at Corpus Christi Church, Mount Temple, Co Westmeath.

She will be buried afterwards in Donegan Cemetary, Co Westmeath.

Mourners told how she had a way of “bringing light to those around her”.

One person said: “I was deeply saddened to hear about Jean’s passing. Although it’s been some time since we last met, the memories I have of Jean are filled with warmth and joy.

“She was such a peaceful and lovely person—someone who made everyone feel welcome and at ease.

“I will always remember her infectious smile and her gentle spirit.

“She had a way of bringing light to those around her, and I feel so fortunate to have known her.”

Another said: “Denise, heartfelt sympathy to you and the extended Kessler and Conlon families on the unbearable loss of your dearly loved Jean.

“Such fond memories of her from her school days in Our Ladys Bower. Thinking and praying for you all.”

One mourner said: “Sending my sincere condolences in this extremely difficult time.

“Jean was such a beautiful person and I was so glad to have known her. I am so sad to learn of her passing. Rest in Peace Jean.”

Another said: “Our deepest sympathies to the Kessler family. Such a beautiful family and an amazing lady.

“She will be missed by her creche family deeply.

“We are all so grateful to have known Jean. May she rest in peace.”

While another shared: “No words can describe how sorry we are to hear of Jean's passing.

“She was a wonderful mother, a beautiful person and a gorgeous neighbour.

“She will be sorely missed. Sending you all love and strength to get you through this awful time.”

Remembering Jean Conlon Kessler

Tributes continue to pour in for a Limerick mum-of-three who died following a tragic incident earlier in the week.

Jean Conlon Kessler, who has been described as a ‘beautiful person’ and ‘gorgeous neighbour’, passed away following a tragic accident on Monday, September 23, 2024.

The young mum is survived by her husband, Tristan, sons Zephyr and Mason, daughter Connie, her mother, Denise, and sisters Valerie and Susan.

Mrs Kessler’s Rip.ie death notice reads: ‘Jean Conlon Kessler; St. Joseph’s Street, Limerick City, formerly Moydrum, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, 23rd September 2024, following a tragic accident.

‘Predeceased by her loving father Pat, forever missed by her adoring husband Tristan, sons Zephyr and Mason, daughter Connie, mother Denise, sisters Valerie and Susan, nephew James, niece Aoibhe, grandmother and godmother Bridie Leamy (Silvermines), mother-in-law Marj, father-in-law Denman, brother-in-law Chris, aunts, uncles, neighbours, colleagues and friends from near and far.’

A Life Well Lived

Tributes have continued to flow in for the Westmeath native, understood to have been living in Limerick city, with many branding her ‘the most wonderful mother’ and an ‘irreplaceable loss’.

‘No words can describe how sorry we are to hear of Jean’s passing,’ wrote one. ‘She was a wonderful mother, a beautiful person and a gorgeous neighbour. She will be sorely missed. Sending you all love and strength to get you through this awful time.’

Another penned: ‘Sending my sincere condolences in this extremely difficult time. Jean was such a beautiful person, and I was so glad to have known her. I am so sad to learn of her passing,’ while a third remembered the mum-of-three for her beautiful smile and incredible laugh.

Funeral Arrangements

Mrs Kessler will lay in repose at the home of her mother, Denise, in Moydrum, Athlone, Co Westmeath, on Friday, September 27, from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at noon on Saturday, September 28, in the church of Corpus Christi, Mount Temple, and she will be buried afterwards in Donegan Cemetary.

An Rip.ie funeral notice confirmed: ‘Reposing at her mother Denise’s Home, Moydrum, Athlone, Friday (27th) from 4 pm until 8 pm. Removal on Saturday (28th) to Corpus Christi Church, Mount Temple, arriving at 11:50 am for Funeral Prayers. Funeral Mass at noon. Burial afterwards in Donegan Cemetery.’
