Niall Horan is back in Ireland and will perform at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham this Friday and Saturday night. The singer is bringing his third studio album, The Show, to fans.
The Show tour is the Mullingar native’s biggest yet, so fans are buzzing.
Unfortunately tickets for both shows are sold out, but keep an eye on the Ticketmaster website, as resale tickets may become available. Buy tickets from official sources only.
Remember to download your tickets from your Ticketmaster account to your iPhone wallet/Google Pay wallet in advance of show day.
Gates open at 5pm and last entry is 9.30pm.
Support Acts
Niall's support are an American indie pop musician Del Water Gap, who also played at Electric Picnic on Sunday.
Also set to warm up the crowd is Elle Coves, the German-born, Irish-based budding singer.
Transport
There no parking at the venue and traffic restrictions will be in place on Military Road and Kilmainham Lane.
The nearest public car park is Park Rite at 7 Queen Street, Dublin 7. Kilmainham is a residential area and all concert goers are asked to respect the local community – do not park illegally or in residential areas.
There are a few options to get to the gig via public transport:
- By Luas: Take the red line from The Point towards Saggart or Tallaght – or the other way around – and exit at Heuston Station which is a five-minute walk to the east gate entrance via Military Road.
- By Bus: Buses 20, 123 and 13 stop at St James’s Hospital; buses 79 and 79A stop at Saint John’s Road West; and the 25A stops at Heuston Station.
- By Train: Heuston station is close by, you can check out timetables at irishrail.ie.
Concert-goers must enter the concert grounds through the east gate on Military Road. There will be signage to direct people closer to the site.

Concertgoers are being urged to plan and book their return travel arrangements in advance, allowing at least an extra two hours travel time to and from the venue.
As traffic delays are inevitable attendees are strongly encouraged to walk, cycle and use public transport.

By Train : Irish Rail run services to Dublin Connolly and Heuston. From Connolly take LUAS Red Line to Heuston Station. Please check timetables here.
By Bus: Routes 52, 60, C1, C2, C3, C4 leave you within close proximity to the venue. Alight at stop 2637 (St John’s Road West) Route Nos 13, G1, G2 Alight at stop 1942 (St James’ Hospital). Check the timetables here.
Once they arrive the venue, concertgoers should follow the signage to direct them to the concert entrance. The entrance is the East Gate on Military Road.
Getting Ready For The Show
Strict age monitoring in place. Unaccompanied under 18’s will be refused entry without refund. All attendees must have a ticket. Recommended no under 5’s.
Due to health and safety, there are strictly no camping/collapsible chairs/stools permitted in the venue. Concertgoers are being warned not to bring these items as security will have to refuse you entry with them.
No glass, metal or hard plastic bottles will be permitted, while professional cameras or cameras with a detachable lens, video cameras & audio are also not allowed in the venue.
According to Met Eireann's forecast, Friday looks set to be a blustery day with sunshine and showers, some of them heavy, with the chance of a few isolated thunderstorms.
There's better news for those heading to the second Dublin gig as Saturday is forecast to be a bright day with sunshine and showers, some heavy, although there'll be good dry spells too. While Saturday won't be as blustery in general as previous days, it'll still be a breezy day with moderate to fresh and occasionally gusty westerly winds. The winds are generally expected to decrease mostly light to moderate later in the evening, with highest temperatures of 14C to 18C.
