Jack Laugher is the Team GB Olympic diver making a splash in Paris, but his girlfriend Lois Toulson has already won an Olympic medal for the UK.

Just like her partner, Lois is an Olympic springboard diver. But who is the self-described adrenaline junkie?

Just like her boyfriend, she is from Yorkshire though Jack is from Harrogate and Lois is from Huddersfield.

Lois describes herself as an adrenaline junkie and is no stranger to springing into the pool from a handstand.

She made her major tournament debut at the Olympics, skipping past the World Championships and the Commonwealth Games to the biggest stage in sports.

Lois has won many titles and medals in her career as a springboard diver.

Her fearless attitude helps her perform the 10m jump into the pool, where her partner prefers the 3m jump.

She said that she prefers the 10m jump because she feels that springing into the air comes more naturally to her.

Lois competed at the 2016 Olympic Games in the women's synchronised ten metre platform event and went on to win a bronze medal for the same event at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

She has won a bronze medal, alongside Fred Sirieix's daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Outside of the Olympics, she has won a silver medal in mixed 10m platform synchro at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships, alongside Tom Daley's former diving partner Matty Lee.

Relationship Goals

Jack and Lois have joked that they don't remember when they met, which can make marking anniversaries difficult.

Though, they have said that they are sure that their first date was in a restaurant.

Since they had gotten to know each other through diving training and competitions, there were no awkward meet-the-parents moments.

The diving duo quarantined at Jack's family home, making them even closer.

Jack and Lois have reportedly been together for around 7 years.

Although sometimes competing against each other, the couple often share pictures of them celebrating each other's achievements.

In 2024, Jack made waves when he announced that he had joined OnlyFans and where he began sharing pictures of himself.

The diving superstar sees the humour in his OnlyFans account, saying "Obviously, I've got something people want, and I'll happily cash in on that - I don’t care."

Jack Laugher's Diving Journey

Jack Laugher is diving back towards Olympic glory for a fourth time with his eyes firmly set on the prize – he competes in the Men's Synchronised 3m Springboard at 10am on Friday, 2 August. Cheering him on from the sidelines is his doting girlfriend and fellow Olympic diver, who was his teammate before plunging into a relationship.

The 29 year old who hails from Yorkshire has certainly made a name for himself at the Olympic Games, having made his debut during London 2012. While he didn't win a medal the first time around, he went on to make a sensational splash during Rio 2016 when he clinched a gold medal with 3m synchro partner Chris Mears - in a pool as notorious for its hue as for their harmonious victory.

For the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Jack teamed up with Dan Goodfellow for the synchro, while they didn't make it to the podium, Jack took home bronze in the individual event. In a fresh coupling for Paris 2024, Jack will slice through the water with Anthony Harding, who is set to make his Olympic debut as part of Team GB.

After Jack's Rio triumphant, he was hit with claims that he was 'gay' following his close relationship with his diving partner, Chris. It came following their 'bromance' with the pair previously sharing a flat together, with a mortgage and after appearing on the cover of Gay Times magazine together at the end of 2013.

At the time, Jack's former girlfriend Jessica Auty, was forced to hit out at the claims. She previously said: "People are always assuming they are a couple because they spend so much time together.

"They are just the best of friends. They have very similar personalities and they love watching The Mighty Boosh and things like that." Jack acknowledged his appeal to all sexualities and shared at the time: "The appeal of diving to both straight and gay people is huge. You’ve got fit men in great shape competing in almost nothing. We are getting the fans and type of following that never would have happened six or eight years ago. It is great for the sport because having a packed- out venue is better than an emotionless competition."

Jack is now in a relationship with his girlfriend Lois Toulson, who is also an Olympic diver. The couple are thought to have been together for around seven years now, competing alongside each other on the diving circuit, while navigating their relationship away from the poolside.

Competing alongside each other at this year's Olympics, Jack will dive on Friday, while Lois took part in the women's synchro 10m platform on Wednesday, 31 August. It was all cheers for Team GB as Lois and her dive partner, Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix, who is Fred Sirieix's daughter, scooped up the bronze medal.

Jack couldn't hide his delight as his girlfriend secured a spot on the podium and took to his Instagram with a snap from the day. He lovingly wrote: "Words can't describe how proud I am."

The Diving Duo's Relationship

Other than the supportive messages on social media, the diving couple tend to keep their relationship away from the spotlight and have only shared the occasional snap together. When they post photos, they can either be found on a romantic getaway together, with their adorable dog or on tour during the diving circuit!

Discovery+ is the new home of the Olympics. The streamer is set to broadcast 3,800 hours of sport live from Paris.

Sports fans can get Discovery+ for £3.99 a month until the end of 2024 via Amazon Prime's video channels. This also comes with an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial.
