It's going to be a busy weekend at Rogers Arena. Pop star Pink is getting the party started in Vancouver, finally, playing a pair of shows originally booked for Oct. 20 and 21, 2023. Both the Friday and Saturday night shows are nearly sold out, with seats beside and even slightly behind the stage on sale. That means both nights will see huge crowds showing up to see the singer, known for global hits like "Just Like a Fire," "Just Like a Pill," and "Just Give Me a Reason." Opening for Pink will be Irish band The Script and KidCutUp (an L.A. DJ), according to Ticketmaster. Tickets bought for the Oct. 20 show can be used for the Sept. 6 show and tickets for the Oct. 21 show will be valid for the Sept. 7 show. There are limited seats available for both shows, and they're all resale tickets. On Ticketmaster, there are only a few tickets for either night running under $300, so anyone planning on a cheap, last-minute ticket may miss the show. Given the nature of the resale market, there's a range of ticket prices; for example, there are currently tickets in the same section and row that vary by hundreds of dollars. There's plenty of opportunity for people to spend massive amounts of cash though, with floor seats selling for up to $3,500 per ticket.

Navigating the Crowds: Getting to Rogers Arena by Transit

TransLink is encouraging concert-goers to use transit to get to Rogers Arena. Rogers Arena is just steps from Stadium–Chinatown Station, making transit the best way to get to the concert. The Expo Line’s Stadium–Chinatown Station is a short walk from Rogers Arena. Alternatively, the Canada Line’s Yaletown–Roundhouse Station is a 16-minute walk away. Both the SkyTrain’s Expo and Canada Lines offer fast and frequent travel from early morning to late evening. You can plan your trip using TransLink's Trip Planner at translink.ca/tripplanner or Google Maps. Tell us where you’re starting from, and we’ll find the best route to get you to Rogers Arena. Children under 12 ride transit for free! For your convenience, Compass Card readers accept contactless Interac Debit and credit cards, including American Express, Mastercard, and Visa, and mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay). All you need to do is tap your card or device on the card reader to pay and enter the system. If you don’t have a contactless credit or debit card, you can purchase a Compass Ticket (or an Adult Compass Card) from Compass Vending Machines located at SkyTrain stations, SeaBus terminals, Tsawwassen and Horseshoe Bay ferry terminals, and select London Drugs stores. You can also pre-purchase a second Compass Ticket for your return trip. Tap in and out at SkyTrain stations and SeaBus terminals. There’s no need to tap out on buses, which are a one-zone fare. If you’re paying by cash on the bus, you will be issued a paper transfer, which allows you to transfer between buses, but not to the SkyTrain, SeaBus, or West Coast Express.

Park and Ride

For those who prefer driving, TransLink offers Park and Ride lots located throughout Metro Vancouver near transit stations. You can park your car for between $2 and $3 all day. Next, hop on to transit and let us take you the rest of the way to the concert. Locations include Scott Road and Coquitlam Central stations.

Last-Minute Ticket Deals: A Chance to Donate and See Pink

If you're looking for last-minute tickets, you can also consider a more philanthropic approach. The Lions Gate Hospital Foundation is offering a set of private concert box tickets to this Friday’s concert to the person who can fundraise the most for North Vancouver’s Lions Gate Hospital. The highest bidder will receive 14 tickets to Pink’s The Summer Carnival tour, nabbing the most prime position to see the singer deliver some belters and whirl around the stage as she performs her famed, acrobatics-laden show. The winner will also receive two free parking passes for the evening. All of the funds raised will support the foundation’s Bigger, Better Cancer Care campaign, a project designed to expand and enhance oncology services at Lions Gate Hospital. Bidding is set to close at noon on Friday, Sept. 6.

What to Expect at Pink's Trustfall Tour Concert

Pink's Trustfall Tour promises to be a high-energy spectacle, showcasing her unique blend of pop, rock, and acrobatics. Pink, known for international hits "Get The Party Started," "So What," "Just Give Me a Reason" and "Just Like A Pill," is expected to draw huge crowds to Rogers Arena with shows penned for both Friday and Saturday night. The Summer Carnival is a celebration of her latest album, Trustfall, released last year. The tour kicked off in June last year at the University of Bolton Stadium in England’s Bolton, and set to conclude in Florida this November. Pink has performed her signature acrobatic feats, captivating audiences around the world, throughout the tour. Joining Pink on stage are the Irish indie rock band The Script and Los Angeles-based DJ and producer KidCutUp, creating a vibrant and dynamic lineup for the Vancouver concerts.

What You Need to Know Before You Go

Concert-goers should familiarize themselves with Rogers Arena’s guidelines for a seamless experience. TransLink has not announced any extra service or significant alerts for SkyTrain and SeaBus service on the nights of the concerts. However, it should be noted that Saturday, Sept. 7 may be a busy night in the area as the Whitecaps have a game scheduled at BC Place and Punjabi singer Kanwar Grewal will be at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. All events have start times around the same time. A few things aren't allowed in Rogers Arena for the show. Notably, some bags won't be permitted; all bags need to be under 35.5 cm by 35.5 cm by 15.2 cm. For reference, 35.5 cm is just a bit over 13 inches. Rogers Arena is also a smoke-free zone, as far as cigarettes and cannabis are concerned. The band may have smoke machines. Other common-sense items, like skateboards, selfie sticks and outside food and drinks, should be left at home. Rogers Arena has gone cashless. "Concession, retail stands, and hospitality will exclusively accept contactless forms of payment," states the venue's website. Rogers Arena has a fan service number to text if there are any issues during the show: 604-765-3267. Concert-goers can text their issue and their location (seat number and row along with the section) and get help.
