Qantas Rewards Program: Big Savings For Small Businesses
Qantas has revamped its Business Rewards program, offering small businesses up to 10% off international flights and bonus points. These new benefits are aimed at helping businesses reduce travel costs and make it easier for them to connect with colleagues, clients, and partners.
Earning Points and Leveling Up
QBR members can now earn points for their business on Jetstar’s Flex, Flex Plus, and Business Max bundles. They can also earn bonus points on Qantas Hotel bookings. These points are in addition to the points earned by employees through their personal Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts.
Progressing through the three QBR membership levels is now faster. Points earned from the entire trip, including car hire and hotel stays, will count towards leveling up. The higher your membership level, the bigger the savings and rewards you’ll unlock.
Level 1 Benefits
QBR Level 1 members, businesses that earn up to 15,000 Qantas Points from business travel per year, can enjoy up to 6% off the base fare of selected flights, pocketing 20 Qantas Points for their business for every 100 points their flyers earn, and receiving a 20% discount off Qantas Club membership.
Level 2 Benefits
QBR Level 2 members, businesses that earn between 15,000 and 79,999 Qantas Points from business travel per year, see their flight discount bumped up to 9%, while pocketing 30 Qantas Points for their business for every 100 points their flyers earn, and receiving a 30% discount off Qantas Club membership.
Level 3 Benefits
At the top tier of QBR Level 3, where a business earns more than 80,000 Qantas Points from business travel per year, discounts reach as high as 10%, with 40 Qantas Points for their business for every 100 points their flyers earn. They can also take 30% off Qantas Club membership and nominate one traveler per year for a fast track to Qantas Gold frequent flyer status.
More Benefits for QBR Members
In addition to the above benefits, employees of QBR members earn a bonus 250 Qantas Points into their personal QFF account every time they fly for work. This is a great way to reward employees for their hard work and encourage them to fly with Qantas.
A Win-Win for Businesses
Andrew Glance, CEO of Qantas Loyalty, says that one in five Australian SMEs already participates in Qantas Business Rewards. “We understand how important face-to-face connections are for building strong relationships, which is why these changes are designed to not only help businesses reduce their travel costs but make it easier for them to connect with colleagues, clients and partners.”
The revamped Qantas Business Rewards program offers a win-win for businesses. They can save money on travel costs while earning points that can be used for future travel, rewards, or even cash back. This makes Qantas a more attractive option for businesses looking for a rewards program that delivers value.
