It appears AEW has scooped up a major former WWE talent who performed on the Monday Night Raw brand ahead of All In 2024. Plenty of rumors have been swirling around AEW's biggest pay-per-view of the year, which will be held at Wembley Stadium in London, England on August 25th. Many have wondered what surprises could be in store for those in attendance and fans watching at home. One report has revealed that a huge ex-WWE Raw name has been signed to AEW, and could be making an appearance at All In 2024.

Fightful reports that Ricochet has secured a multi-year deal with AEW. It's also been said that there are plans in motion for the former WWE superstar to travel to London to be a part of the All In 2024 pay-per-view this Sunday.

The future of Ricochet has become a little clearer. Coming off the expiration of his WWE contract, reports indicated that former Intercontinental Champion Ricochet was expected to imminently join All Elite Wrestling. That plan has now reportedly become a reality, with Ricochet quietly signing a deal with the promotion led by Tony Khan.

According to Fightful Select, Ricochet has inked a multi-year agreement with AEW with the help of an agent. Furthermore, he is figured into upcoming AEW shows, beginning with a potential appearance at AEW's biggest pay-per-view of the year — All In. This year's All In event will emanate from Wembley Stadium in London, England on Sunday, August 25. With this in mind, Several sources have claimed that Ricochet is headed to London for a planned appearance at AEW All In. The circumstances surrounding Ricochet's possible involvement is still unknown. Should Ricochet emerge at AEW All In, it will mark his official AEW debut.

Ricochet's time with WWE saw him claim the Intercontinental, US, and NXT North American titles. He's engaged to ring announcer Samantha Irvin. Ricochet was last seen on WWE TV during the June 10th episode of Monday Night Raw. WWE ran an injury angle that saw Bron Breakker slam the high flyer onto a car windshield. Ricochet was taken away in an ambulance at the end of the segment.

In June 2024, Ricochet reportedly informed WWE officials of his desire to leave the company upon the conclusion of his latest deal. As such, Ricochet was written off of WWE television shortly thereafter in a "WWE Raw" segment that saw Bron Breakker send him crashing through a car windshield. On June 30, Ricochet was moved to the alumni section of WWE's website, just hours before his contract officially expired.

In moving to AEW, Ricochet will be met with a number of new and familiar faces. Some of these familiar faces include former WWE colleagues like Mercedes Mone, Adam Cole, and Saraya, while others like Will Ospreay and The Young Bucks precede his WWE days.

Ricochet gives AEW another high-level talent who thrived before teaming up with WWE. His time with New Japan Pro Wrestling and then Lucha Underground produced some iconic matches for the diehard wrestling fan base. Unfortunately, his style never found the right home in WWE, and he spent most of his tenure with the company consigned to mid-card obscurity.

It'll be interesting to see what feuds Ricochet will be involved in now that he is reportedly on team AEW. One match fans have already been salivating over is the thought of another showdown between Ricochet and Will Ospreay, who will be challenging MJF for the AEW American Championship this Sunday.

While Ricochet isn't a big name to the casual fan base, he could be a solid draw for diehards who remember his tenures outside of WWE. His addition to the roster is smart business by Khan and could pay dividends in the coming months as he gets back into the ring and reminds everyone why he was such an exciting talent a few years ago.

However, Khan and AEW's creative team must ensure Ricochet doesn't get lost in the shuffle. They already have a deep roster. Signing him to a contract means the company sees something in him. He deserves enough time and opportunity to prove them right. Hopefully, he gets that chance.

A debut at All-In, where he could help or hinder Ospreay in his match against MJF, would be the perfect introduction to AEW. It would instantly set up a storyline with another elite high-flyer while providing a moment with viral potential on social media.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Ricochet has signed a multiyear deal with AEW. He could make his debut at All-In in Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

"Fightful did confirm that Ricochet is planned for upcoming AEW shows, and has a multiyear agreement with the company," Sapp reported. "Several familiar with the situation claimed that Ricochet is traveling to London for AEW All In, and was planned for the show. We haven’t learned what his planned involvement would be. Ricochet worked with an agent for the deal, we’re told."

Ricochet's arrival to AEW has been a long time coming. With his recent departure from WWE, many fans and industry insiders expected him to join AEW sooner rather than later.

The news of Ricochet signing with AEW is a major coup for the company. It signals that AEW is continuing to attract top talent from WWE, and it will be interesting to see how Ricochet fits into the AEW landscape.

A recent report from Fightful Select has confirmed that Ricochet is planned for future AEW events and has signed a multi-year agreement with the company. The publication has said that sources told them Ricochet is traveling to London and is also planned for Sunday’s All In pay-per-view, most likely as an entrant in the Casino Gauntlet Match.

Fightful Select further notes Ricochet worked with an agent to secure his contract with AEW, as more wrestlers now have been accustomed to doing, rather than on their own.

The report also notes that Ricochet worked with an agent to secure his AEW deal, as more wrestlers have been accustomed to doing.

In recent years, the wrestling industry has seen a shift in the way wrestlers secure their contracts. More and more wrestlers are now working with agents to negotiate their deals, rather than doing it themselves. This is likely due to the increased complexity of the modern wrestling landscape, as well as the need to have a strong advocate in the negotiating process.

The fact that Ricochet worked with an agent to secure his AEW deal is a sign of the times in professional wrestling. It is a reflection of the fact that wrestlers are now taking a more business-oriented approach to their careers.

Ricochet's signing with AEW is a major story in the world of professional wrestling. It is a sign of the company's growing power and influence, and it will be interesting to see how Ricochet's career unfolds in AEW.

It is important to note that AEW has not officially confirmed Ricochet's signing or his planned appearance at All In. However, the reports from Fightful Select are coming from sources that are close to the situation, so it is highly likely that this is accurate information.

Ricochet is a talented wrestler with a lot of potential. He has already achieved a lot in his career, but he is still relatively young and has the potential to become one of the top stars in AEW. It will be interesting to see how he is used by Tony Khan and the AEW creative team.
