Shirley Ballas looked incredible as she stripped to a bikini to show off her weight loss following a juicing diet. The Strictly Come Dancing head judge flaunted her age-defying figure while posing for a mirror selfie. Shirley, 63, is currently on a juice retreat in Portugal and couldn't resist making the most of her results so far in a polka dot bikini. She went make-up free in the upload and had her dark hair slicked back.

Sharing the snap on Instagram, she told fans: "Starting day six at @juicemasterretreats feeling so much better. Cleaner, lighter, head space more clear... This is a must for me yearly to get myself in a good place. @jasonvale is simply the best place ever. Thank you Jason for all you do for so many people here in Portugal."

Shirley's retreat isn't cheap and costs an eye-watering £1,457 per week. Juicy Oasis, frequented by the likes of Rob Rinder, Carol Vorderman and Alex Scott, is a seven-day retreat offering a wide range of facilities for guests. Each day follows a structured schedule, beginning with meditation and yoga. A morning walk and circuit training session are followed by a refreshing juice break, a spin class, and another yoga session. The afternoon includes additional juice, high-intensity training, rebounding, and a game of volleyball. To conclude the day, guests enjoy a final juice, yoga practice, and a nourishing soup.

But it's doubtful Shirley will struggle to afford it after her BBC salary was recently revealed. It was reported that Shirley is paid almost £380,000 each year by the Beeb for her role on Strictly. Shirley Ballas shares her yearly 'must' as she prepares for her return to Strictly Come Dancing. It was confirmed back in June that she'll be back as the BBC One dance contest's head judge. She'll be back on the judging panel alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke while Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be back to keep everyone and everything in check when the series begins in just two weeks time on Saturday, September 14.

Before then though, Shirley is currently enjoying a health retreat in Portugal and took to Instagram to issue an update with her fans, detailing the positive impact the trip has been having on her so far. The 63-year-old looked incredible in a two-piece bikni as she posed for a photo shared with her 335,000 followers. "Starting day six at @juicemasterretreats feeling so much better, cleaner, lighter, head space more clear," she typed alongside the snap. The TV star and dancer added: "This is a must for me yearly to get myself in a good place. Just simply the best place ever, thank you Jason for all you do for so many people in Portugal."

It comes after Shirley said earlier in the week: "Every year kickstarting my whole body, juicing, working out and relaxing with some amazing spa treatments. It's this time of the year I look forward to the most taking care of myself. How to start an amazing week."

It comes after Shirley was subject to comments about her appearance ahead of her return to Strictly. It came after she took to social media to ask for her fans' opinions on what outfits she should plan for the upcoming season. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, earlier this week, Shirley wrote to her fans and followers: "What shall I wear for the launch of @bbcstrictly 2024? I’m starting to think of ideas … so please send your outfit inspo." She also asked the same question on her Instagram page and took a trip down memory lane as she responded to her fans' suggestions by sharing a selection of her different outfits from over the years.

One fan told Shirley: "We want pink!" to which she responded by posting a snap of herself wearing a vibrant hot pink suit and said: "Ok. I might need to dig out my pink suit out again." But it appears not everyone was as kind. In a subsequent post on her Instagram Story, Shirley shared a screenshot of a message she had received from a follower, asking whether she has thought about removing the "warts" on her face.

The message read: "Shirley, you always look stunning with your hair and clothes. Would you consider having the warts removed on your face? I know you have lots of health and beauty treatments but I think it would be the best thing to do." They went on to explain that a relative of theirs had two "huge" warts removed and was "happy" with the results and added: "I don't mean this to be rude. I completely admire you."

Hitting back, Shirley responded: "And so it begins. Just for one's information, I love the little bump on my chin. I was born with it." The 'Queen of Latin' added: ""It's not a wart. Can always tell when @bbcstrictly is about to start, the messages get personal."

Shirley Ballas looked amazing in a polka dot bikini on Instagram on Thursday as she started the sixth day of her annual juice-only diet. The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 63, took to her Story to showcase her trim figure as she attends the Juice Master Retreat in Portugal. She captioned the snap: 'Starting day six at @juicemasterretreats feeling so much better cleaner lighter head space more clear.

'This is a must for me yearly to get myself in a good place. @jasonvale just simply the best place ever thank you Jason for all you do for soo many people here in Portugal.'

At the retreat, called Juicy Oasis Portugal, guests will drink only juices for seven days. According to the website, there is no food at all - bar an optional salad upon arrival and departure.  Guests can stay for multiple weeks, but Jason recommends a maximum of four consecutive stays.  Prices start at £1600 and there is a second retreat, Juicy Mountain Turkey.  Controversially, anyone from 14 is allowed to attend - and there are no medical staff around in case a week of no food proves too much for some guest.  Shirley documented her trips to the retreat in 2023, where she again visited in August, and in 2022.

In 2023, just one week before the new series of Strictly, Shirley revealed she lost 9lbs. Shirley told how at the retreat, favoured also by Alison Hammond, she was put through her paces in spin and yoga classes and kickstarted each morning with a two-hour hike. The dancer told MailOnline at the time: 'I lost 9lb. Yoga is definitely something I'm going to keep up throughout the whole Strictly series. I have cleansed my system too, I do colonic irrigation, I'm up at 5am every morning.

'I wasn't there to sunbathe, I was there to take every spin class, two hours hiking up hills that would put my heart rate close to 179, that's how high we were going. It was a tough, tough week of hard work but I came back really rejuvenated.'

In 2022, Shirley did the retreat just months after she had a health scare and had to undergo a series of tests on all of her organs after fans spotted a lump in her armpit. Thankfully, the results came back all clear for all organs.   At the retreat, Shirley shared an image of her busy schedule which included activities such as volleyball, yoga, walks and of course juicing.  Captioning her post, Shirley penned: 'Well what an experience here with @jasonvale @juicemasterretreats. It's been absolutely transformative learning about juicing, The schedule is tough but you can do as much or as little as you like.

'Me I did it all today and I'm exhausted but feeling proud of myself. The hike was just beautiful, the views breathtaking. All the classes informative and so professionally put across to all levels, so impressive. I even tried volley ball today lol trampolining was an experience in itself.'

The 'Queen of Latin' continued: 'I'm happy I took time to focus on myself, to do the things I love long time overdue, and I met some very cool people. I've even had a colonic to clean my system which I loved and I truly felt lighter and cleaner from the inside out.  Facial, massage, rainforest scrub, this will be an experience I will have in my calendar from now on,, it's been a phenomenal experience here in Portugal Wow wow wow. Loved being here with my friend and publicist @lauransinclair.'

In 2021, Shirley underwent scans at King College Hospital after doctors flagged concern about her high testosterone levels. Doctors were initially searching for a suspected lump in her armpit after concerned fans noticed it on Strictly in October.  Medical tests also revealed a shadow on her kidney, but the doctor gave her the all clear.  On September 21, Strictly Come Dancing will return for a twenty-second series - and Shirley will once again be at the judging helm. Fans and foes alike will be watching closely to see how the BBC dance programme bounces back from the scandals that plagued this year.  Shirley Ballas has taken to social media to show off her incredible figure after spending time at a juice, yoga and fitness retreat in Portugal ahead of the new series of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing

Earlier this month, Shirley revealed she is often targeted by trolls on social media about her appearance. She shared a message an Instagram user sent her after Shirley had posted a selfie.

It read: "Shirley you always look stunning with hair and clothes. Would you consider having the warts removed from your face? I know you have lots of health and beauty treatments but I think this would be the best thing to do. I don't mean this to be rude I completely admire you. Take care, Shirley."

Shirley replied to the message, writing: "And so it begins lol. Just for one's information, I love the little bump on my chin I was born with it. It's not a wart. Can always tell when @bbcstrictly is about to start, the messages get personal."

Shirley will be back on our screens very soon as the first live episode of Strictly Come Dancing will take place in September. Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman return as hosts, while Shirley will be joined on the judging panel by Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse. Shirley Ballas showcased her amazing figure in a backless black swimsuit as she jumped into a lake in a fun Instagram video on Tuesday.  The Strictly Come Dancing judge, 63, looked incredible in the one-piece as she ran along a dock and threw her arms into the air as she launched into the water.  She seemed in good spirits as she revealed she is 'taking care of herself' while soaking up the sun on a lavish getaway.  The BBC star revealed she always starts her year by looking after her body before taking some time for herself in the summer ahead of Strictly airing.  She wrote: 'Every year kickstarting my whole body, juicing, working out and relaxing with some amazing spa treatments. It's this time of the year I look forward to the most taking care of myself. How to start an amazing week.'  It comes after Shirley admitted in July she's 'absolutely exhausted' amid the ongoing Strictly Come Dancing scandals.

The head judge has continued to show support for fellow judge Anton Du Beke and axed professional dancer Giovanni Pernice throughout the misconduct probe. Anton, 58, is the fourth star named to have 'raised concerns' over a resurfaced historic row and alleged '1970s-style behaviour' with former Strictly dance partner Laila Rouass. Giovanni, 33, was the first star in the probe after his former partner Amanda Abbington claimed his 'intense' and 'full-on' training style left her with PTSD. And as more and more celebrities call out their former pro partners, it appears Shirley is drained from the many scandals coming out.

Taking to Instagram, she said: 'Hey everybody, so I'm having my revitalise drip. I've been on the road now for over two weeks.  I'm absolutely exhausted so this always gives me that bounce in my step again and helps me to feel so much better.

'So I'm truly grateful that I am able to do this while I'm in New York and get a pimp in my step.'

It comes after Anton was seen for the first time since being dragged into the Strictly Come Dancing misconduct scandal.  He reduced contestant Laila, who is of Indian and Moroccan descent, to tears during the 2009 series when he jokingly told her she 'looked like a P***' after a spray tan, with the comments resurfacing this week.  Anton apologised to Laila at the time and admitted he felt 'stupid' and 'embarrassed' by his comments to the actress, with the duo making amends a few weeks later.  On Saturday, Anton dressed casually as he arrived at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, north Wales, for his tour date with ex Strictly professional Giovanni Pernice, 33.  Giovanni himself is currently suspended while a BBC probe is underway over claims of off-camera misconduct made by Amanda Abbington, 50, and two other former celebrity partners, with Anton throwing his support behind the dancer.  As well as Giovanni, professional dancer Graziano Di Prima, 30, was axed from the show this week and later apologised for hitting and kicking his celebrity partner Zara McDermott, 27, during rehearsals last year.  Anton's wife Hannah shared a heartfelt message to Anton alongside snaps of his six-year-old twins George and Henrietta.

She penned: 'Happy birthday darling Anton Du Beke George, Ra Ra and I couldn’t love you more and can’t wait to celebrate when we’re all together! We will ring soon for a serenade…. Brace yourself for Granny! Happy birthday my darling. I love you. ❤️'

Reposting her message, he wrote: 'What a perfect message to start my birthday morning. Thank you @hannah_du_beke. Can't wait to celebrate with you all on Monday. Love you so much.'  Anton joined the BBC dancing show for its first series back in 2004. He then became part of the judging panel in 2019 when Bruno Tonioli left.
