The 23-year-old Italian player lost his first set at the U.S. Open to Mackenzie McDonald, but has since won 12 straight sets going into the quarterfinal. Most recently, Sinner took down No. 14 Tommy Paul in straight sets (7-6, 7-6, 6-1), the first two of which went to tiebreakers.
