SITA, the global leader in technology solutions for the air transport industry, has appointed Shawn Gregor as President of the Americas and Selim Bouri as President of the Middle East and Africa region. The two bring extensive management experience in the travel & transport, telecommunications, and information technology sectors to SITA.

Shawn’s background includes overseeing digital transformation programs for clients within the aviation sector, with a geographical focus spanning the Americas, including work in the United States and Canada. His career has featured numerous leadership roles, most recently serving as Vice President and Industry Leader for Travel and Transportation at IBM. Prior to his tenure at IBM, Shawn made substantial contributions at Infosys Technologies Limited and Accenture, where he developed several strategic business units. He will be responsible for leading SITA’s operations and driving strategic initiatives across the Americas region, further strengthening the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional value to its customers.

Selim is a seasoned leader in aviation, secure communications, and technology. He has held several high-profile roles during an illustrious career in the global aerospace, telecommunications, and security sector, including heading up the Critical Comms and Security business at Airbus for the Middle East/Africa and APAC regions, and spearheading business development across multiple leading telecommunications companies. He holds Masters degrees in Aeronautics, Aerospace Science, and Technology from ISAE-SUPAERO, and Executive Leadership, Strategy, and Business Administration from IMD.
