Southampton Manager Finds Love With Former Glamour Model Lucy Pinder

Southampton manager Russell Martin has reportedly found love with former glamour model Lucy Pinder. The Premier League boss, 38, is said to be 'besotted' with Lucy, 40, who is a huge Southampton FC fan.

According to The Sun, the couple have grown close in recent months and are completely 'smitten' with each other. They were out together this week when Russell received an honorary degree from Brighton University and were also reportedly spotted at a Sky Sports function.

A Match Made in Southampton

A source said: 'They're a match made in heaven — or at least in Southampton. They're mad for each other.'

The couple's relationship comes after Russell reportedly came to terms with the end of his marriage to his wife Jasmine, with whom he shares three children. He previously called fitness model Jasmine a 'supermum', saying: 'To achieve what she has with three little ones is amazing.'

From Grief to Intimacy

The pair split last year with insiders saying there was no crossover with his new relationship with Lucy.

The source said: 'There was no crossover. Russ’s marriage ended and he was glum. It was all about looking after the kids and making sure they were OK.'   

'But amid the grief, as he threw himself into work, Russ grew intimate with Lucy.'

The insider added that, as a die-hard fan, Lucy is a regular at Southampton functions and she and Russell grew close over time. 

A Brief Look at Lucy's Career

Lucy, from Hampshire, began her career after being scouted by a freelance photographer while on Bournemouth beach. She found fame as a Page Three girl and frequently appeared in men's magazines such as Nuts and Loaded. She appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009 with Ulrika Jonsson and Latoya Jackson where she was the first housemate evicted. The brunette also had a small role in the American film Sharknado 5: Global Swarming in 2017. 

A New Chapter for the Manager

Russell's new relationship comes at a time of great change for the manager. He recently led Southampton to victory in the Championship play-off final, securing their return to the Premier League. He has also been focused on his three children following his separation from his wife. His newfound romance with Lucy Pinder suggests that he is ready to embrace a new chapter in his life, both professionally and personally.
