A teenager was stabbed in Gloucester on Monday afternoon (August 19) after being approached by a group of people on bikes, police have said. Gloucestershire Police have launched an urgent appeal to track down three suspects in connection with the assault.
The victim, 18, was attacked on Bibury Road at around 3.45pm. He was getting into a car before being approached by the three suspects on bikes, who stabbed him before riding off.
The teenager was rushed to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital by paramedics. Police said his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Gloucestershire Police said: “The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be serious.
“Police are continuing to hunt for the suspects and anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 101, quoting incident 309 of 19 August.”
