Tennessee’s next two quarterback prospects are in Neyland Stadium for the Vols’ game against Florida on Saturday night. The two quarterback commits, George MacIntyre and Faizon Brandon, are in Knoxville as part of a massive recruiting weekend for Tennessee’s rivalry game. The Tennessee Vols are set for a rivalry game this weekend. The Vols will take on the Florida Gators inside Neyland Stadium. The Gators have won 7 of the last 10 in Knoxville and the Vols will be looking for their next win following a 19-14 loss against Arkansas.
Tennessee will have many players on campus for this game which is the biggest recruiting weekend for Tennessee so far this season. Tennessee is expected to have well over 70 names on campus. Many commits and targets from a plethora of different classes will be in attendance.

Dozens of Tennessee targets in the 2026, 2027 and 2028 classes, including a few five-star prospects, are expected to be in attendance Saturday night when eighth-ranked Tennessee (4-1, 1-1 SEC) takes on Florida (3-2, 1-1) at Neyland Stadium. Several of the Vols' current commitments, at least a few of whom are still hearing from other schools, are also planning to return to Knoxville for Saturday's game.
Tennessee’s Big Weekend of Recruiting
MacIntyre is a four-star quarterback prospect from Brentwood Academy who committed to Tennessee in late January 2024. MacIntyre is currently the second-highest commit in Tennessee’s 2024 class but spent most of the year as the highest-ranked commit in the class until David Sanders Jr. made his decision in mid-August. The Nashville prospect ranks as the No. 70 player in the nation, the No. 8 quarterback in the 2024 class, and the No. 1 player from the Volunteer State. Tennessee made a splash when they landed quarterback Faizon Brandon to the 2026 class in early August. Brandon is a five-star prospect and ranks as 247Sports’ No. 1 overall player in the 2026 rankings. Brandon was ready to make his commitment before his junior season at Grimsley High School and was the Vols’ first commit in the 2026 cycle back on Aug. 3, 2024. Five-Star Edge Rusher Zion Elee Set to Visit Tennessee
Elee, the No. 2 player in the 2026 class, visited Oregon last weekend, He will make his first trip to Tennessee on Saturday and he also has a trip to Auburn on his schedule and a pair of other programs on his mind.
“Recently Texas A&M,” Elee said about new schools in contact. “I’ve been in communication with them. And Miami. Those are two schools that have really been on me.”
Elee’s Top Five
Elee’s current top five includes Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon, and Texas A&M. Elee has stated that he is also interested in programs like Tennessee, Miami, and Auburn. He will be taking visits to those schools in the coming weeks and months.
Other Top Recruits Visiting Tennessee
2026 offensive tackle prospect Adam Guthrie will visit Tennessee when the Vols host Florida on Saturday. “I will be at Tennessee this weekend taking in a gameday visit, looking forward to some of the best fans CFB has to offer,” Guthrie said. The 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive tackle prospect is from Miami Trace High School in Washington Court House, Ohio. Guthrie is a four-star and ranks as the No. 211 overall national prospect in the class of 2026. He ranks as the No. 16 offensive tackle and No. 9 prospect in Ohio, according to 247Sports. Guthrie unofficially visited Tennessee on April 6. The Vols offered him a scholarship on March 4.
2027 cornerback prospect Ashton Alston will visit Tennessee when the Vols host Florida on Saturday. “Excited to be at Rocky Top this weekend,” Alston said. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound cornerback prospect is from Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. Alston is a four-star and ranks as the No. 50 overall national prospect in the class of 2027, according to Rivals. He unofficially visited Tennessee on April 1 and July 27. The Vols offered him a scholarship on Jan. 4.
Alston has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Arkansas, Boston College, Bowling Green, Duke, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Kent State, Kentucky, UMass, Missouri, Oregon, Purdue, Toledo, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
