West Ham today host Manchester United in what could be a crunch Premier League clash. The Hammers have endured a difficult start to the season under Julen Lopetegui and were last week thrashed by Tottenham despite taking the lead. After a big summer spend, the pressure is on the Irons boss ahead of the meeting at the London Stadium.

Red Devils boss, Erik ten Hag, is a man used to working under pressure. Seemingly constantly tipped with an exit from Old Trafford, the Dutchman has seen his side embark on a four-game unbeaten run of late, albeit three of those results have been drawn.

While it would be too much to suggest either manager will be fearing for their jobs should they lose, there is little doubt another defeat would only increase the noise. Follow all the action with Standard Sport’s dedicated match blog! Dom Smith will be providing expert analysis from the ground!

West Ham vs Manchester United – LIVE!

The clash at the London Stadium pits two under-pressure managers against each other.

It's a huge match for West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui as the struggling Hammers host Erik ten Hag's Manchester United at the London Stadium.

Life in east London as David Moyes' successor hasn't quite gone to plan for Lopetegui, with last weekend's damaging derby defeat to rival Spurs leaving West Ham in the lower reaches of the EPL on just eight points.  While the Hammers have no trouble scoring, their frailties in midfield and defence has been costing them dearly, with the hosts having kept just one clean sheet so far this season.

That presents an opportunity for a United side currently in the unfamiliar surroundings of the lower half of the table. Last weekend's 2-1 comeback win over Brentford no doubt helped ease the pressure on ten Hag, but as Thursday's 1-1 Europa League draw with Fenerbahce showed, the Red Devils have lost the knack of winning from leading positions.

West Ham take on Man United on Sunday, Oct. 27 at the London Stadium, with kickoff set for 2 p.m. GMT local time, making it a 10 a.m. ET or 7 a.m. PT start in the U.S. and Canada and a 1 a.m. AEDT kickoff in Australia, in the early hours of Monday morning.

Below, we'll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the match as it happens, wherever you are in the world.

Christian Eriksen opened the scoring in Manchester United's 1-1 Europa League draw against Fenerbahce in midweek.

Sunday's West Ham vs. Man United match is streaming on Peacock. You'll need a Peacock Premium or Premium Plus account to catch the game live.

Peacock offers two Premium plans, and after the recent price increases, the ad-supported Premium plan costs $8 a month and the ad-free Premium Plus plan is $14 a month.

If you find yourself unable to view EPL matches locally, you may need a different way to watch the games -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the U.S., UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It's normally $13 a month, but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100 you'll get three months free and save 49%. That's the equivalent of $6.67 a month with code SPECIALDEAL, which should be automatically applied.

Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Sunday's early afternoon kickoff at the London Stadium has not been selected for broadcast by a UK broadcaster.

That also means that if you're in the UK traveling for pleasure or for work, you're unlikely to be able to watch the game like you normally would at home, thanks to geoblocking.

There's one option to get around this. By using a VPN, as explained above, you can set your location to a country where the match is being broadcast and go from there.

If you want to stream this EPL game live in Canada, you'll need to subscribe to Fubo Canada. Once again, the service has exclusive rights to every Premier League fixture this season.

Fubo is the go-to destination for Canadians looking to watch the EPL this season, with exclusive streaming rights to every match. It costs CA$30 per month, although you can save some cash by paying quarterly or annually.

Football fans down under can watch EPL matches live on streaming service Optus Sport, which is showing every single Premier League fixture of the 2024/25 season live in Australia.

With exclusive rights to stream all EPL matches live this season, as well as German Bundesliga and Spanish La Liga games, streaming service Optus Sport is a particularly big draw for Aussie soccer fans.

If you're already an Optus network customer, you can bag Optus Sport for a reduced price, with discounts bringing the price down to as low as AU$7 per month. If you're not, a standalone monthly subscription to the service starts at AU$25.

West Ham vs Manchester United LIVE! Premier League match stream, latest score and goal updates today

By Harry Bamforth

YES THEY CAN!

David Coote blows the whistle and Erik ten Hag's Manchester United suffer yet another defeat.

This one has to be one of the most damaging after all the chances they missed in the first half.

In the end, Crycensio Summerville's striker and a controversial Jarrod Bowen penalty does the job for West Ham.

A huge win for Julen Lopetegui.

By Harry Bamforth

Just one more minute to hold on for West Ham...

Can they do it, can they claim another historic win over Manchester United?

By Aadam Patel At Selhurst Park

By Harry Bamforth

Crystal Palace have done it!

The Eagles finally grab their very first win of the season at the ninth time of asking.

They put a poor Tottenham side to the sword, and in truth, the defeat could have been much heavier.

They won't care, though.

By Harry Bamforth

Emerson so nearly kills Manchester United off.

The full-back races into the box and just has Andre Onana to beat at the near post.

But his shot is tame and Onana beats it away with ease.

By Harry Bamforth

West Ham are so nearly there now.

With each passing minute, you can hear the London Stadium crowd get more and more nervous.

Manchester United, though, aren't looking too threatening.

By Harry Bamforth

There will be plenty of time for Man United to try find an equaliser.

Amid all the chaos that was that VAR decision, the board showed that there would be 12 minutes of stoppage time.

There may even be more after all of that. Plenty more action to come.

By Harry Bamforth

Jarrod Bowen makes no mistake from the spot!

The West Ham skipper arrows the ball into the bottom corner to send the hosts back in front.

Andre Onana dived the right way, but the penalty was just too powerful.

What a dramatic end to this match.

By Harry Bamforth

David Coote takes an age to decide... but then he awards the penalty.

I'm shocked, I can't lie. That is an extremely soft penalty to give.

But wait a minute, now they are checking for a handball by Danny Ings before that. What is going on?

Actually, it has been given anyway.

By Harry Bamforth

Ohhhhh...

David Coote has been sent to the screen to check for a possible West Ham penalty.

Danny Ings is bundled over by Matthijs de Ligt and I think we know where this is going.

It would be so soft, though...

By Harry Bamforth

Oh, dear...

Andre Onana is down and has been receiving treatment for some time now.

I think it is more for caution as he doesn't seem in much pain, but that doesn't mean he won't be taken off.

I guess we will see.

By Harry Bamforth

I have good news, man United fans.

Andre Onana is OK to continue, so all your fears are eased.

I know a few of you were worried for a second there.

By Harry Bamforth

Guess what?

Yep, Lucas Paqueta has been booked. In other words, water is wet.

The West Ham midfielder tries to stop Manchester United from taking their free-kick and the referee is having none of it.

They don't take no prisoners these days.

By Harry Bamforth

That is a lesson in why you need to take your chances.

Manchester United have had bucketloads of them but couldn't find the net.

But West Ham could...

It's a cruel game, it really is. It's not over yet, though.

By Harry Bamforth

I TOLD YOU!

Just as I say the game is lacking its punch, Crycensio Summerville lands a massive one on Manchester United.

the visitors are the masters of their own downfall as they give the ball away at the back and Jarrod Bowen pounces.

He picks out Danny Ings who miscues a shot into the path of Summerville to turn home.

The substitute races straight over to the bench to celebrate.

By Harry Bamforth

This game just feels destined to be a stalemate.

The chances are drying up with every passing minute, it isn't packing the same punch anymore.

(Cue a goal in two minutes time...)

By Harry Bamforth

Trevoh Chalobah, what are you doing?

The defender simply has to score as Vicario palms Eberechi Eze's strike in his direction.

He is just a few yards out but completely miscues his strike, it doesn't even go toward goal.

Luckily for him, the flag is up anyway.

By Harry Bamforth

That's a huge tackle from Max Kilman!

Amad Diallo just has the West Ham defender to beat as he drives into the box.

The winger tried a couple of fancy stepovers but Kilman is having none of it and just sticks his foot through him to win the ball.

By Harry Bamforth

West Ham are all over Manchester United now.

Julen Lopetegui's substitutions have made a huge difference and now the visitors can't get out their own half.

How momentum can switch, eh?

I bet United may live to regret all those missed chances.

By Matt Barlow At Selhurst Park

By Harry Bamforth

Tottenham are clinging on here...

Vicario keeps them in the game as he denies Ismaila Sarr with his feet as the ball looked destined to deflect past him.

Moments later eberechi eze hooks the ba;ll just woide form close range.

Crystal Palace are all over Spurs.

By Harry Bamforth

Why didn't Crycensio Summerville play from the start?

The winger has come on and made a huge difference on that left-hand side.

He is taking on his man and beating him with ease regularly.

Compare that to Carlos Soler who did practically nothing when he was on the pitch.

By Aadam Patel At Selhurst Park

By Harry Bamforth

This game is a lot more open now!

Michail Antonio is leading the West Ham charge and he looks to bend one into the top bins from distance.

It's a decent effort but it flies just inches wide of the mark.

The West Ham fans respond with a roar, they are starting to believe.

By Harry Bamforth

Guess what?

Alejandro Garnacho has squandered yet another chance for Manchester United.

The Argentine smashes the ball into the side netting and just looks up to the sky.

That's three chances he has missed now.

By Harry Bamforth

Selhurst Park goes berserk, they think they have a second... but it's been ruled out.

Eberechi Eze is sent in over the top and races away before squeezing the ball under Vicario.

However, he went just a smidge too early and the flag is up.

VAR checks and eventually agrees with the assistant referee.

By Harry Bamforth

I have no idea which way this game will go now...

Everything I have said has ended up being wrong, pretty much. So I will leave the football to do the talking.

It all hangs in the balance.

By Harry Bamforth

United are back in it!

The visitors finally take a chance and it's Casemiro who nods in from just three yards out.

The ball is flicked on by Joshua Zirkzee and the Brazilian is never missing from there.

I judged this game way too early...

By Harry Bamforth

There is a break in play as Edson Alvarez receives treatment.

The ball was wellied into his face a moment ago, so that will certainly leave its mark.

I'm sure a concussion substitution will be on it's way.

By Harry Bamforth

That is a blow for United as Mazraoui goes off injured and is replaced by Lindelof, with Martinez moving to left-back.

By Harry Bamforth

I'm not quite sure how, but we are all square at the break.

Manchester United have been hammering at West Ham's door but are still yet to find a way through.

Julen Lopetegui has a lot to think about during these next 15 minutes.

By Harry Bamforth

Lukasz Fabianksi to the rescue for West Ham!

The Pole reacts incredibly as Cadsemiro leaps highest to guide a free-kick toward the bottom corner.

Fabianksi gets low and somehow manages to palm the ball away from danger.

An incredible stop.

By Harry Bamforth

This does not look good for Manchester United...

Lisandero Martinez is down and looks in a lot of discomfort. I feel a substitution could be on its way.

It would be a major blow to the visitors.

By Harry Bamforth

How are West Ham still in this match?

Manchester United can't get any closer without scoring as they hit the bar yet again.

Christian Eriksen's inswinging corner deflects off Jarrod Bowen and hits the upright.

Is that ball ever going to go in?

By Matt Barlow At Selhurst Park

By Harry Bamforth

Bruno Fernandes looks like a man lacking confidence.

He fires a free-kick straight into the wall and ironic cheers come from the stands.

The United captain then just looks at the floor. Nothing is going his way at the moment.

By Aadam Patel At Selhurst Park

By Riath Al-samarrai At The London Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

That may just be the miss of the season...

Diogo Dalot is lofted through by Bruno Fernandes, he is around Lukasz Fabianski and has the goal at his mercy.

I started typing goal but then he smashes the ball wide from just six yards out.

I am sitting here with my mouth gaping, I'm simply stunned. That's a criminal miss.

By Harry Bamforth

Tottenham Hotspur, what are you doing??

Crystal Palace take the lead through Jean-Phillipe Mateta and it's been gifted to them by the visitors.

Spurs make a mess of it at the back, give the ball away, and then Palace are on their way.

Eberechia Eze flicks a cross beautifully onto Mateta, who smashes the ball home.

A lovely finish!

By Aadam Patel At Selhurst Park

By Harry Bamforth

We have had our first proper chance of the match, hooray!

It goes the way of Crystal Palace as Maxence Lacroix heads over the bar from close range.

On another day, I think the defender would have buried that.

But still, much better!

By Harry Bamforth

Anybody else had a bout of de ja vu.

This match has taken the exact same shape as Manchester United's draw at Crystal palace.

United have had chance, after chance, after chance. But somehow they have not taken any of them.

the worst of the lot had to be Diogo Dalot's miss. I still can't rack my brain around how he squandered that opportunity.

Could it come back to bite them in the bum?

By Kathryn Batte At The London Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

Guess what?

Yep, Lucas Paqueta has been booked. In other words, water is wet.

The West Ham midfielder tries to stop Manchester United from taking their free-kick and the referee is having none of it.

They don't take no prisoners these days.

By Harry Bamforth

More midfield problems for Crystal Palace...

Jefferson Lerma can't continue and hobbles off with the look of disappointment all over his face.

He is replaced by Will Hughes. Not the substitution Oliver Glasner would have wanted to make.

By Harry Bamforth

You'd think with the extra hour of sleep last night, West Ham's players would be a little brighter...

But they just look half asleep both going forward and at the back.

Carlos Soler tries to spot Jarrod Bowen as they move forward but massively overhits a ball over the top.

Manchester United then hit them on the counter and the ball is sent through to Marcus Rashford.

But Lukasz Fabianksi rushes out to thwart him.

By Harry Bamforth

The London Stadium finally have something to cheer about... West Ham have won a corner.

It's the first real attack the hosts have mustered, they have started poorly.

The resulting set-piece ends up being wasted. It goes over everybody.

By Aadam Patel At Selhurst Park

By Matt Barlow At Selhurst Park

By Harry Bamforth

Bruno Fernandes, how have you not scored?

Christian Eriksen clips a wonderful ball into the six-yard box and Fernandes drifts behind the defence.

he has a free header, surely he can't miss?

But he does. the United skipper mistimes his jump and heads miles over the bar.

Another huge chance has been wasted.

By Harry Bamforth

Another big chance goes begging for Alejandro Garnacho!

The winger races through down the left-hand side, drives into the area, and can either shoot or pass to a team-mate in the middle.

He chooses the former and bends the ball just wide of the far post. He really should do better there.

His hands go to his head, he can't believe it.

By Harry Bamforth

Selhurst Park is bathed in glorious sunshine at this moment in time, it is quite the sight.

Other than that, though, there is not much else to report thus far.

Tottenham have had all the ball but are yet to do anything with it.

By Harry Bamforth

Manchester United are looking bright here.

Bruno Fernandes is making things tick and they look threatening whenever they get the ball and go at the Hammers.

The early signs are promising for the visitors, but concerning for West Ham.

By Harry Bamforth

Nearly the perfect start for Manchester United!

Bruno Fernandes gets in behind and unselfishly squares it for Alejandro Garnacho in the area.

You expect the net to ripple but the Argentine crashes his effort off the upright.

That should be 1-0. A let-off for West Ham.

By Harry Bamforth

Selhurst Park is in fine voice today!

You wouldn't guess that their team is in poor form based on the noise they are making as the players take to their positions.

There is a huge roar from the stands as the game gets underway. They are well up for this one.

By Harry Bamforth

The London Stadium is looking glorious in the sunshine, my word.

Bubbles have been blown, huddles have been had, and now it's time for us to get going in Stratford.

Let's hope for an action-packed one, eh?

By Harry Bamforth

This is why photographers get paid for what they do, just look at this picture. Incredible.

That is the main reason for this post, but while I'm here, why not talk about Brennan Johnson.

I have a sneaky feeling he is going to bag a brace today...

You've heard it here first.

By Harry Bamforth

Alan Shearer, former Newcastle striker, speaking to Betfair:

By Harry Bamforth

Is anybody else as excited as me?

We are now under 15 minutes from kick-off and the London Stadium is starting to get the buzz of excitement.

On their day, the West Ham fans can make one hell of an atmosphere.

Will that day be today?

By Harry Bamforth

I have written this subheading so many times this season.

The fact we are eight games in and Crystal Palace have not won three points yet is crazy.

If Palace fans weren't worried before the international break, they certainly are now after Monday's loss away at Nottingham forest.

And it gets no easier for te Eagles today...

They have only won one of their last 18 Premier League matches with Tottenham, losing 15 of those.

The odds are certainly stacked against them.

By Harry Bamforth

Bruno Fernandes is not having the best of seasons, let's be real.

He has been miles off his best, absolute miles - like the distance of a marathon. That's how poor he has been.

Fernandes is yet to score this campaign. In fact, he hasn't scored for Manchester United since April.

To make matters worse, he has never scored against West Ham in 12 appearances against them.

So, the statistics aren't exactly in his corner regarding goals today. They are all against the United skipper.

But stats are there to be broken, right?

By Matt Barlow At Selhurst Park

By Kathryn Batte At The London Stadium

By Harry Bamforth

The atmosphere is starting to build over in Stratford.

We are at the point in the afternoon when fans are getting their pre-match grub in.

I must admit, the second photo is making me very jealous. Just like Cole Palmer, I love a chippy tea.

Soon their minds will be off food, though, and on getting behind their team.

By Harry Bamforth

The London Stadium has not been a happy hunting ground for Erik ten Hag during his time as Manchester United manager.

He has had two Premier League visits there and lost both of them...

West Ham have not won three home league games against United on the spin since 1977.

They have the chance to change that stat today.

By Harry Bamforth

I know, I know, this post is way later than usual...

I just got a little too excited with the earlier posts, OK. But it still needs to get its time to shine.

So, here is today's schedule - it's a cracker:

By Harry Bamforth

Before I tackle more of the build-up to today's games, I thought we'd take a quick glance at what happened yesterday.

I mean, it was a nutty day of football. There were goals everywhere, late winners, red cards, and penalties. A bonkers day.

Here are the results:

By Harry Bamforth

What were you doing at 17 years of age?

The answer for me is that I would be sat watching football while I should have been revision for my A-Levels.

I'm guessing all of your answers will be similar.

Well, Mikey Moore's wouldn't. After impressing against AZ Alkmaar in the week, the winger has been selected to start a Premier League game for the first time in his career.

The boy is only 17, it's crazy.

Spurs fans are excited about him, though. My friend who is a devoted Tottenham supporter just texted me how happy he is.

Can Moore shine brightly one more today?

By Harry Bamforth

Interesting...

Oliver Glasner has brought Adam Whgarton back into the fold despite his groin problems.

The midfielder is one of three changes from the side who lost at Nottingham Forest on Monday.

By Harry Bamforth

Oh yes Tottenham fans, Mikey Moore starts.

The 17-year-old is the only change to Spurs starting line-up that beat West Ham 4-1 last weekend.

Why change a winning formula too much, eh?

By Harry Bamforth

Julen Lopetegui makes four changes from the defeat to Tottenham last week.

Carlos Soler is in for the suspended Mohammed Kudus, while Edson Alvarez replaces Tomas Soucek.

There is also a change at the back with Kostas Mavropanos coming to partner Max Kilman.

Meanwhile, Lukasz Fabianksi makes his first Premier League start of the season.

By Harry Bamforth

Rasmus Hojlund is back in from the start!

After his goal against Brentford last week, Erik ten Hag has chosen the Dane to lead the line once more.

Casemiro is fit enough to start after an injury scare but Jonny Evans only makes the bench.

Thoughts, United fans?

By Harry Bamforth

Julen Lopetegui, West Ham boss, speaking on Friday:

By Harry Bamforth

Julen Lopetegui may have only been at West Ham since the summer, but already he is feeling the heat.

I mean, after their recent results, I'm not surprised.

They are hovering just above the relegation zone in 16th. With the squad they have, that's pretty unforgivable.

With every passing day, frustration ins east London grows and the pressure on Lopetegui ramps up with it.

Today is arguably a must-win game for the Spaniard, or he could be sayonara before he has even settled.

It could be a monumental day in his early career at the clubs.

By Harry Bamforth

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United boss, speaking on Friday:

By Harry Bamforth

Another week has passed and Erik ten Hag is still in the hot seat.

He is in a much stronger position than he was during the international break, that's for sure.

Last week's win over Brentford did enough to quieten the noise around his future, even if it was only a little bit.

Then Manchester United's dramatic draw away at Fenerbahce displayed some of their fragilities once more.

Consistency is what Ten Hag needs right now, so a loss today would be severely damaging to both him and his side.

A win, though, could do wonders for his future.

Every game is a huge one for the United boss at the moment, and this one is no different.

By Harry Bamforth

Everybody stop, you know what time it is...

In the words of the great MC Hammer - this is it. Manchester United and West Ham usually serve up belters, and I simply can't wait.

The sun is shining in the capital, and we have all had an extra hour of sleep. It's the perfect day for it.

Both these clubs have had topsy-turvy starts to their campaigns, for very different reasons, and will be desperate for a win today.

When teams crave three points as badly as these two do, it usually means it will be an entertaining game.

Let's hope this one follows suit, eh?
