WWE's premier event of the summer is ready to begin the party.

SummerSlam 2024 has arrived and it's shaping up to be an extraordinary event fit to be held in an NFL stadium. Arguably the second-biggest premium live event on the WWE calendar behind WrestleMania, SummerSlam will have a stacked card with all of the singles championships on the line.

Nia Jax and Gunther will cash in their championship opportunities, and Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in another battle against The Bloodline. There will be one non-title match, but it's a match all fans are excited to see: CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre, and there's potential for plenty of surprises on Saturday night.

SummerSlam 2024 is Saturday, Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. ET.

Countdown to SummerSlam 2024 begins at 4 p.m. ET.

SummerSlam 2024 is taking place at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

The event can be streamed on Peacock, but you must have their premium or premium-plus subscription to watch. Internationally, it will be available on WWE Network.

Countdown to SummerSlam 2024 will be available to watch on Peacock, as well as WWE's social channels and WWE's YouTube channel for free.

Ticket Sales for SummerSlam 2024

WWE is all set to host the 2024 SummerSlam Premium Live Event on August 3, 2024, from the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio. This is one of the most anticipated events and the second biggest event of the company behind WrestleMania. This year’s event marks the 37th anniversary, with this iconic event becoming the third longest-running event of WWE following WrestleMania and Survivor Series.

As there are high stakes for the show, the show is expected to be a grand success and could break several records including the ticket sales and in the box office. At this stage, the backstage report revealed the updated number of ticket sales for this year’s biggest party of the summer.

According to WrestleTix, WWE has sold a total of 49,459 tickets for the upcoming WWE SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event on August 3, 2024, at the Cleveland Brown Stadium. Following that, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter announced that WWE would announce 60,000 as the ticket sales number.

The seating capacity of the Cleveland Browns Stadium is 67,431, however, the numbers reveal that the show will be more than 75% filled with live audiences.

Despite that, Meltzer predicts that the 2024 SummerSlam PLE will be a major success and will likely be the highest-grossing non-WrestleMania pay-per-view in WWE history. He also believed that the show would be the second most attended SummerSlam event, behind the 1992 SummerSlam pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium.

WWE has announced some of the exciting matches for this year’s SummerSlam, which has been the driving factor for the success of the show and for the ticket sales. Here is the match card for the show.

SummerSlam 2024 Match Card

  • Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship
  • Nia Jax vs. [Opponent to be determined] for the Women's Championship
  • Gunther vs. [Opponent to be determined] for the Intercontinental Championship
  • CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre

With SummerSlam 2024 just a few days away, excitement is building for what promises to be an unforgettable event.
