The milestone comes as Brian recently opened up about the prejudice the couple faced from a priest when planning baby Blu's christening. "He refused to refer to me as her father," Brian told the Irish Daily Mail. "He told Arthur I was the guardian, and asked where her mother was. The priest at Blake's christening was absolutely fantastic, so we just happened to get a homophobic one."
Despite the disgusting comments that Brian and Arthur, who is a judge on RTE's Dancing With The Stars, have experienced from trolls online, Brian said he feels "sorry for them". "I'm 46, and I feel like I'm allowing people to bully me every single day. From my accent, weight, hair, lips, the way I walk and dress. But these people are weak and will never say it to your face, so in away I feel sorry for them," he said. "And then some people will say I'm not my daughters' dad, I'm their uncle; they even target my kids directly, asking why Blake can't talk properly.
"I think I can control the rage because I'm so used to it. I've been getting this now for almost three years, since the time we announced our pregnancy. But it has definitely upped the ante lately, to a level that I think is very, very dangerous. There needs to be more regulation around the hate that is spewed online."
Arthur recently left his fans gushing as he shared an adorable clip of his rarely-seen mum and daughter Blake. The TV star's judge's mum Maria, also known as Tati to her family, is staying with Arthur and Brian for two months. Maria has been enjoying some quality time with her two grandchildren. Arthur took to his Instagram yesterday to share an adorable clip of Blake and Maria dancing together. At the start of the video, Blake can be seen dancing around the house in her Minnie Mouse dressing gown. She was all smiles as she clapped her hands and twirled around before running away from the camera. The two-year-old then danced with her grandmother to music that was playing on the television.
