Aubrey O’Day alleged disgraced rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs “groomed” and controlled her appearance while filming “Making the Band” when she was around 21 years old.

The former Danity Kane songstress, now 40, got candid about the criticism she faced while working on the MTV reality series in 2005 alongside Combs, who served as an executive producer.

“I look at the beginning of ‘Making the Band’ and little Aubrey auditioning, and I’m like, ‘I don’t know how I became the sexy face one,'” she said on a forthcoming appearance of the “Crysis Queen” podcast,” per the Daily Mail.

“[Combs] is on camera saying how much he hates it, but he’s off-camera telling me all the ways I needed to be groomed properly like down to my toenails,” she added.

O’Day alleged the “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper, 54, labeled her the “looker of the band” and once sent her out of the studio because her toes weren’t properly polished.

She alleged “grooming” was a part of Combs’ abuse cycle.

“With Diddy, I saw multiple … sides of him,” O’Day continued in another part of the interview.

“But I don’t know who I was even talking to that was sober … there was always an element of something going on.”

O’Day claimed Combs once forbid her from being friends with a “certain very big name person,” whom he was also involved with.

“That was the first time [Combs] had kinda said, ‘You’re not allowed to be around that person ever again,'” she recalled, explaining she knew her unnamed friend’s experience with the rapper.

“And that was the first time I started to see the dynamics change with just how he approached me on camera,” the singer alleged.

O’Day was a part of the Danity Kane girl group until 2008 when she allegedly got booted for not doing “what was expected” of her — “not talent-wise but in other areas,” she said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast in 2022.

“After coming off of Diddy, there’s not many people you can go into a room with and get that type of high from,” she said on the “Crysis Queen” podcast, according to the Daily Mail.

“Grooming is a process, they don’t just abuse you on day one,” O’Day said, explaining groomers usually make their victims feel comfortable before flipping a switch.

“It’s like the military,” she continued. “They break you down and build you back up into the soldier they need you to be for the country they need you to be fighting for.”

O’Day also claimed “there are way more victims” of Combs’ that will come forward as the sex trafficking case against the Bad Boy Records founder plays out.

In April, she alleged Combs tried to buy her silence by offering her publishing rights in 2023, though she declined the deal.

Reps for Combs weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

On Sept. 16, Combs was arrested and charged with sex trafficking, prostitution, racketeering and fraud.

He’s accused of “[coercing] women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires” and “creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice,” per a 14-page unsealed indictment.

The findings come after the feds raided his Miami and Los Angeles mansions in March and uncovered guns, drugs and 1,000 bottles of lubricant.

O’Day — who has been an outspoken critic of Combs — said the music mogul’s arrest was “justice” for “women all over the world.”

Diddy's Alleged Grooming Practices

Aubrey O’Day has recently come out with bold claims about Sean “Diddy” Combs, adding more to the countless allegations towards the disgraced mogul. According to Page Six, O’Day was allegedly “groomed” by Diddy while filming the 2005 series, Making The Band. Diddy apparently controlled her appearance, creating an abusive environment for the artist. The singer stated, “I look at the beginning of ‘Making the Band’ and little Aubrey auditioning, and I’m like, ‘I don’t know how I became the sexy face one.’”

Moreover, she alleged Diddy intentionally labeled her the “looker of the band,” recalling an incident where she felt compelled to leave the studio because he disapproved of her toenail polish. Per the Daily Mail, O’Day said she “saw multiple … sides of him.” She continued, “I don’t know who I was even talking to that was sober … there was always an element of something going on.” Diddy even went as far as taking her off the show for “not doing what was expected” of her—”not talent wise but in other areas.”

More Victims Expected

O’Day further asserted that “there are way more victims” of Combs expected to step forward as the sex trafficking charges against the mogul play out. She also revealed in April that Diddy allegedly attempted to silence her by offering her publishing rights in 2023, but she rejected the offer. Combs was arrested on September 16th and now faces charges of sex-trafficking, racketeering, prostitution, and fraud.

Danity Kane's Rise and Fall

Aubrey O'Day first started working with Sean 'Diddy' Combs in 2005.

Aubrey O'Day is sharing more details about her experience working under Sean "Diddy" Combs on Making the Band.

During her interview on Renee Graziano's "Crysis Queen" podcast, the singer explained she had always seen the "real" side of the disgraced mogul, who was arrested last week and hit with charges of s-- trafficking, racketeering and more.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs was Aubrey O'Day's boss when she was in the girl group Danity Kane.

O'Day — who was one of the members of the now disbanded girl group Danity Kane — said Combs, 54, would dictate every element of her appearance.

"He's on camera saying how much he hates it, then he's off camera telling me all the ways that I needed to be groomed properly, like down to my toenails," the "Damaged" crooner explained. "I was sent out of a studio session one time because my toes weren't polished properly."

O'Day has aired out her negative experiences with Combs months before he was arrested on September 16.

The reality star, 40, admitted that back then, she felt the need to follow his guidelines, explaining, "After coming off of Diddy, there's not many people you can go into a room with and get that type of high from."

O'Day went as far as to claim that the rapper groomed her.

O'Day claimed Combs 'groomed' her during their time together.

"Grooming is a process, they don't just abuse you on day one," she shared. "They make you feel like ... you get little bits of things that make you attracted and excited by [them] ... and then once they've got your attention, they let you know about yourself in different ways."

The Celebrity Apprentice alum likened being groomed to working in the military: "They break you down and build you back up into the soldier they need you to be for the country they need you to be fighting for."

Diddy's Arrest and Continued Allegations

While O'Day and several other individuals have come out with their negative experiences with Diddy, the former believes "there are way more victims."

"There is a lot more crazy s---. As this unfolds, more people will be heard," she insisted.

Combs was charged with racketeering conspiracy, s-- trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

After the dad-of-seven was arrested on Monday, September 16, the "Showstopper" singer shared a cryptic message that was surely aimed at the mogul.

"The purpose of justice is to provide an ending and allow us the space to create a new chapter. Women never get this. I feel validated," she said via social media. "Today is a win for women all over the world, not just for me. Things are finally changing."

Combs plead not guilty to the charges and remains in a Brooklyn, N.Y., prison after being denied bail twice. Though he was placed on suicide watch, his lawyer stated that he's not feeling "suicidal at all," explaining that the title is just the routine for high-profile inmates.
