Diablo 4 is offering players a new look behind the curtain at the upcoming 2.0 patch – here's when you can tune into the new Campfire Chat.

Diablo 4 has plenty to share about its PTR in the next Campfire Chat, bringing together the game's developers for a relaxed conversation about what's to come to the game.

The Diablo 4 Campfire Chat has become a staple of the game’s community, serving as a chance for Diablo developers to sit down before its fans and discuss what’s next for the title's content and testing. They’ve started to get even more interesting as of late, though, as Vessel of Hatred is so close we can almost taste it.

The expansion is set to overturn the game with its brand-new Spiritborn class and extended traipse across Sanctuary, and Diablo 4 players are champing at the bit to see what lies in store as it enters a new season.

Luckily, we can be prepared to see plenty as associate director of community Adam Fletcher, lead live game designer Colin Finer, systems designer Aislyn Hall, game designer Charles Dunn and expect game designer Jeevin Sidhu take us through what is to be expected in the next Public Test Realm, now gearing up to launch in 2.0. The team will also be opening the floor to questions from fans, so you can actually have a hand in the presentation itself.

Here’s the Diablo 4 Campfire Chat start time, so you can join the team by the fire and learn more about the upcoming PTR.

The next Diablo 4 Campfire chat starts at 7pm BST / 2pm EDT / 11am PDT on Thursday, August 29 as confirmed in the official blog post. Judging by previous Campfire Chat livestreams, we can expect this one to last for around two hours. You can watch the stream on YouTube, Twitch and Twitter, with the links that you can find below. The links will take you to the site landing pages, but we’ll offer direct links to the stream when it goes live:

The Campfire Chat is bound to be an interesting one, as the game gears up for a brand new era. Diablo 4 will soon go nuclear with Vessel of Hatred, so while it prepares itself for a total shift, it’s nice to sit around with the game’s team to see what’s coming sooner. We’ll see you in the chat.

Blizzard will let us play the next evolution of Diablo 4 ahead of its official release, and it seems like we're not far off either.

It’s fairly well understood that Diablo 4’s first evolution post-launch came with Season 4: Loot Reborn, which revamped much of the game’s loot and itemisation loops. The next evolution will arrive with the Vessel of Hatred expansion, and its aptly named patch 2.0.

Blizzard hasn’t quite explained what patch 2.0 will do to the game, but the developer recently confirmed what players have long be guessing: a major change to the levelling curve is coming, which may even take the form of a level cap squish.

The good news? We won’t have to wait too long to find out what’s going to happen.

Diablo 4’s next Campfire Chat developer livestream has been announced, and it’s going to be all about patch 2.0. The game-changing update is getting its own Public Test Realm (PTR), making it the third time the game has hosted the testing environment.

Blizzard remains coy about what to expect from the patch 2.0 PTR, but it’s going to spill all the beans on the livestream. The show is scheduled for Thursday, August 29 at the usual 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm BST time.

The show will be hosted by community lead Adam Fletcher, and guests include lead live game designer Colin Finer, systems designer Aislyn Hall, game designer Charles Dunn, and expert game designer Jeevun Sidhu.

This is, in fact, also the Season 6 PTR. Season 6 will kick off right alongside the launch of Vessel of Hatred on October 8, making it Diablo 4’s next big moment. You’ll be able to watch it on Diablo’s official channels on YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter.

Fans of Diablo 4 should keep an eye out for August 29, as major news is expected to be released for its big patch 2.0. Players have requested many overhauls to Diablo 4, with highly demanded changes to loot being made back in Season 4. However, there are still many additions that fans have been asking for that haven’t yet been added.

The new Diablo 4 expansion, Vessel of Hatred, has been seen as crucial to the future of the game. Fans have been concerned about things like poor itemization and a lack of endgame variety, and they hope that this expansion can solve some of those problems. Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred brings more endgame content, with a new mode restricted to groups of two to four players.

Diablo 4 players are asking Blizzard to make a small but potentially impactful quality-of-life fix to multiplayer game sessions.

On August 29, Blizzard will be hosting a Campfire Chat developer livestream, with the focus being on patch 2.0. For the third time in the game’s history, the update will have its own Public Test Realm (PTR), a testing environment for the new patch. Blizzard has been tight-lipped about the new patch, but some expect a level squish in Diablo 4 to be happening soon, with the level cap being dropped from 100 to 60. The show will be hosted by Adam Fletcher, the community lead for Blizzard. Guests for the livestream include lead live game designer Colin Finer, game designers Charles Dunn and Jeevun Sidhu, and systems designer Aislyn Hall. The livestream will take place at 11 AM PT, 2 PM ET, 7 PM BST on Thursday, August 29. Fans can watch the stream on Diablo’s official channels on YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter.

The PTR will include Season 6 as well as the Vessel of Hatred expansion, launching on October 8. Vessel of Hatred is a huge moment for Diablo, as it marks major changes being brought to the game. In addition to introducing the brand new Spiritborn class, the expansion adds companions to Diablo 4, called mercenaries, which bring new customizable playstyles for players to enjoy. Vessel of Hatred will also add new endgame content and is expected to bring about many changes that fans have been asking for.

Blizzard will host a Campfire Chat with developers on August 29 to discuss the upcoming patch 2.0 Public Test Realm (PTR), which will allow players to test changes before they are released in the game. This PTR will allow players to test out the new Season 6 changes. The developers will be answering questions from fans, so there’s a good opportunity for players to influence the game’s future.
