Just days after this year’s Electric Picnic wrapped up, loyalty tickets and general admission tickets for next year's festival went on sale this morning. Tickets for the 2025 edition were made available to the public on Ticketmaster at 9am this morning, with thousands rushing to the website in the hopes of landing one of the coveted tickets. Reports emerged earlier today that Electric Picnic 2025 had sold out within two hours of going on sale this morning. However, festival organizers have stressed that people with loyalty codes are still able to purchase tickets under the festival’s loyalty scheme.
Electric Picnic 2025: How to Get Tickets After the Sell-Out
The Electric Picnic Loyalty Scheme offers festival goers the chance to purchase tickets for next year's festival at a discounted price as a way of thanking them for returning to Electric Picnic. Organizers previously announced that a new registration was required in order to access loyalty codes for Electric Picnic 2025 – even if they have received a code in the past. Organizers previously announced that Electric Picnic will return to its original dates next year, with the 2025 festival set to take place from August 29 to 31 next year.
More Tickets Released for Loyalty Customers
TICKETMASTER HAS SAID that tickets for next year’s Electric Picnic are still available following issues with the festival’s loyalty scheme earlier today. The organisers of the festival have also said that more loyalty tickets have been added for those looking to avail of the scheme, but that these will only be available until 7pm this evening. Tickets for the 2025 edition of the festival went on sale at 9am this morning and many of those looking to get access next year were met with long queues.
There were also complaints from users that there was no option to input a loyalty code on Ticketmaster’s website, resulting in them having to pay full price. By midday, customers reported that they were no longer able to buy tickets via Ticketmaster’s website and it appeared that the festival had sold out. However, Ticketmaster posted this afternoon that tickets are still available to customers under the festival’s loyalty scheme.
“To access the sale, you must you follow the ‘Find Tickets’ button at the end of the email you received with your unique code,” Ticketmaster posted on X. “We’re sorry that the email didn’t make this clearer and for any confusion caused.” Electric Picnic’s Instagram page also shared a statement to its stories, which said that more tickets had been added for loyalty customers – but that these must be bought by this evening. “We are aware that some customers faced issues on Ticketmaster in trying to access loyalty tickets this morning,” the statement read, before accompanying a link for those seeking to buy tickets. “We have added more loyalty tickets [...] These tickets will be available until 7pm this evening, and if they are not claimed, will be released back on general sale.”
What to Do If You Missed Out
A message on Ticketmaster’s website states that those with a loyalty ticket discount “requires you to follow a special link or input a code in order to unlock the tickets”. The organisers of Electric Picnic have been contacted for comment. Next year’s festival will take place between Friday 19 August and Sunday 31 August 2025. No information on who will be performing has been released, but this year’s lineup featured Noah Kahan, Calvin Harris, Kodaline and Kylie Minogue among others. If you missed out on tickets for Electric Picnic 2025, be sure to check back with Ticketmaster before 7pm this evening to see if any tickets are still available under the loyalty scheme. You can also keep an eye out for general release tickets being added back to the site if they remain unclaimed.
