Despite what he may think, Emmerdale’s Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) is not a savvy businessman.
Caleb Miligan (William Ash) has completely got one over on him and he hasn’t got a ruddy clue.
Jai likes to think of himself as the village’s top entrepreneur, but he is oblivious to the fact that Caleb is simply exploiting his ignorance – and his bank account.
Jai has been getting increasingly frustrated with Caleb isn’t coming up with the goods with their business deal, and he’s starting to lose his rag.
One thing that irks Jai more than Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) beating him in their divorce proceedings is not being in control. And Caleb has no intention of giving Jai any control – or any of his money back.
This is the final straw for Jai, who demands Caleb give him back his money. But Caleb has it hidden in an offshore account, and Jai still hasn’t realised that he is just a pawn in Caleb’s game. His money is gone.
Caleb pretends to go along with the request and makes a call which confirms his suggestion to Jai that it will take time to get the money back.
With no choice, will Jai give in? Or will his suspicions get the better of him?
The Betrayal of Ruby Fox-Milligan
He attempted to cover it up by not letting on that he knew anything to Ruby.
However, upon investigations into the will, she was shocked to hear from the solicitor that she had spoken to Caleb about the missing £100k.
In an explosive row, she confronted Caleb and finally got the truth from him and it looked like this could be it for the couple's marriage.
Eric Pollard's Feud
Emmerdale viewers can expect a new feud in the village, as one resident takes on Caleb Miligan. They seek payback over some drama next week, leading to a confrontation. Just when it seems the character in question has warmed to Caleb though, he declares the feud isn't over.
It all kicks off when Caleb's big business venture causes problems for village favourite Eric Pollard. Caleb has been scamming residents, while putting everything into his big depot business.
With the warehouse not far from Eric's home, an influx of lorries begin driven past his house leaving him annoyed. The constant noise and traffic leads to Eric taking action, wanting a stop to it all.
Next week, he calls for Caleb to understand his issue with the lorries only to be left infuriated by his response. Caleb doesn't take his complaints seriously and mocks them, so Eric decides to interfere amid him struggling with his Parkinson's disease symptoms.
As things escalate, Caleb tracks his new enemy down and warns him against cause trouble with his business again. Eric isn't put off though, wanting to humiliate Caleb.
But as Eric continues to struggle, with him suffering hand tremors and needing help, Caleb comes across him wandering in the village. Eric is embarrassed, but he's forced to swallow his pride and accept Caleb's help as he offers him a lift.
Eric will visit Dr Liam Cavanagh where they discuss his sudden health decline, with Liam assuring Eric that his brief paralysis is a symptom of not having access to his usual medication. Eric becomes emotional over Caleb's help and thanks him, sending him on his way.
The next day Caleb and Eric come face-to-face once more and there's a new found warmth between the duo. That said, Eric wastes no time in telling Caleb he's not letting the issues with the warehouse drop, and it isn't over between them.
The Unexpected Return of Stephanie Miligan
It's been announced Ruby's estranged father Anthony Fox will head to the village with Caleb and Ruby's AWOL daughter Stephanie Miligan. Having not seen her parents in over a decade, Steph rocks the family with her appearance alongside her grandfather, who has a long-running feud with Caleb - but what are they after?
So should Caleb watch his back, and what will Eric do next to get his way? It comes ahead of a double arrival on the soap that may bring trouble to Caleb and wife Ruby's door.
Jai's Revenge
Jai has been getting increasingly frustrated with Caleb isn’t coming up with the goods with their business deal, and he’s starting to lose his rag.
Jai is particularly peeved when he learns that, despite him saying no, Caleb goes ahead and gives hopeless and unreliable Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) a job.
