Emmerdale star Lisa Riley has been flooded with support from fans after sharing her heartbreaking 'promise' to one of her best friends following his death. Earlier this year, the actress had to say a tragic goodbye to former Strictly Come Dancing partner Robin Windsor.
Robin joined Strictly 2010 and in his first year, he was paired with EastEnders star Patsy Kensit. But he had to leave four years later due to an injury. The closest he got to winning was coming in fifth place with Lisa in 2012, with the popular pairing finishing in 5th place.

A Lasting Legacy: Robin's Impact
Lisa Riley has moved fans with her sweet tribute to Robin Windsor, who died in February this year.
It was later reported how he was found dead in a London hotel after a troubling incident over the New Year.
Sharing a post on Instagram, Lisa told fans: “For NOW and for ALWAYS……..our “FOREVER TREE”. Love you Robin, miss you so much.”
Accompanying the post she shared pictures of a tree adorned with ribbons and confetti on the ground.
Sharing the post to her Instagram Stories, she added another picture of her and Robin as she told followers: “We promised and we WILL, keep you alive here on earth, talking about you, constantly.
“In heaven but always inside my heart forever.”
This isn't the first time Lisa has paid tribute to Robin, in June she shared another sweet message to the star.
Speaking at 2024 British LGBT Awards, she said: “Mental health in the gay community is really bad, and if I can help in any way… then I've done my bit.
“I wish he [Robin] was here, he should be on my arm covered in sparkles and having a ball, but the energy he had is imprinted on my heart.”
She added: “He would be shining down and laughing at us.
“His vibrancy, energy and zest for life was out there for everyone to see.”
Robin, whom she described as “divine”, was bestowed a Posthumous Award on the night for his services in entertainment and in supporting mental health.
It came after the ballroom and Latin Dancer's work with mental health charity Sane.
