FEMA experts will be available in O'Brien County at the Downtown Hardware Hank store in Sheldon, Iowa, from October 1st to 4th. The experts will be available from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily to answer questions and provide advice on home improvements. This convenient location provides direct access to FEMA specialists, allowing residents to get personalized advice on their specific needs.

If your home was damaged by the recent storms, FEMA offers disaster recovery assistance to help cover temporary housing, home repairs, and other related needs. This assistance is available to residents of 16 Iowa counties, including Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Humboldt, Lyon, Monona, O'Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Plymouth, Pottawattamie, Scott, Sioux, and Woodbury counties.
