As COO, Stratford will be responsible for leading operations, corporate development, finance and business and legal affairs for First Look Media’s portfolio of assets across entertainment and non-profit industries.
In his expanded role, Stratford will play a key role in guiding First Look Media through its next phase of growth. The company has been strategically evolving its structure to adapt to the changing media landscape and position itself for continued success. Stratford, who joined First Look Media over three years ago, has a proven track record of success in the media industry. He previously served as Chief Legal Officer and Head of Business & Legal Affairs. Before joining First Look Media, Stratford spent four years at Endeavor, where he was a founding member of Endeavor Content. His contributions were instrumental in building the studio to a $1 billion valuation and ultimately led to a $785 million sale of its scripted television and motion picture assets to CJ ENM.
Stratford’s leadership experience extends beyond Endeavor. Prior to his time there, he was a partner at Gray Krauss Stratford Sandler Des Rochers LLP, where he served as a strategic advisor to various media companies and led the firm’s film and television finance practice. His expertise and insights are a valuable asset to First Look Media as the company continues to expand its reach and influence.
