Swedish theatrical rock band Ghost is bringing their 2025 world tour to Michigan with two shows. They are known for their costumed, theatrical, heavy metal and arena rock concerts. The Grammy-award winning rockers will perform more than 55 shows across the U.S., Europe, the UK and Mexico in 2025. Ghost will play at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Thursday, July 24, and at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Monday, July 28.

The tour will be Ghost's first outing since its RE-IMPERATOUR 2023 tour. The last shows of that tour were used to make the band's debut feature film “RITE HERE RITE NOW.” News of the tour first broke via a new installment of Ghost’s long running Chapters webisode series, which picks up immediately following the events at the conclusion of “RITE HERE RITE NOW.” If you haven't heard of them, you can get an idea of what Ghost is like by watching the new chapter here.

The band's fifth album, “IMPERA,” debuted at No. 1 in a sweep of the U.S. album charts in 2022. The band has played sold-out shows throughout the U.S. and Europe and has racked up more than 10 billion streams with its catchy, theatrical rock music. The group filmed two U.S. shows -- sold-out nights at the Kia Forum in L.A. -- and compiled them into a feature film and accompanying live soundtrack album, “Rite Here Rite Now.” The film is available to stream on VEEPS and the soundtrack was released in July. The band broke the news of the tour via a humorous, self-deprecating video in their long-running “Chapters” webisode series.

The Tour

The band is embarking on its biggest world tour yet, with more than 55 shows in the U.S., Europe, and Mexico through much of 2025. Tickets for the U.S. dates will go on sale on Friday, November 1 at 10 a.m. local time. The concerts will be phone-free experiences. Use of cellphones, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venues, all phones will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their phones at all times and can access their phones throughout the event at designated Phone Use Area in the venue.

Upcoming Shows in Other Cities

Ghost is also scheduled to perform in a variety of other cities in the U.S., Europe, and Mexico in 2025. In the U.S., the Swedish band will play Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on July 22. They will return to Mexico City in September. Fans can find the full tour dates below.
