The entertainment industry has been left shocked by the sudden demise of actor Vikas Sethi, known for his roles in popular TV shows like 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and 'Kahiin To Hoga'. The 48-year-old actor passed away due to cardiac arrest in his sleep, according to reports. Sethi was best remembered for his role in the iconic movie 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' where he played Robbie, the character who infamously asked Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character of Pooja for a movie date, only to be met with her iconic response, “Tell me how it was”.

Sethi's journey in the world of television was quite impressive. He was a familiar face in various popular shows including 'Kasautii Zindagi', 'K Street Pali Hill', 'Gustakh Dil', 'Uttaran', and 'Darr Sabko Lagta Hai'. He was also part of shows like 'Sasural Simar Ka' and 'Yeh Vada Raha'. His contribution to the Hindi film industry was also significant, with roles in films like 'Deewaanapan', 'Oops', 'Modh', and 'ISmart Shankar'. He also showcased his dancing skills in the 4th season of the popular dance reality show 'Nach Baliye' with his then-wife, Amita.

The actor was reportedly going through depression and financial struggles. In 2021, he underwent a surgery for his leg. He had married Jhanvi in 2018 and in June 2021, Vikas had shared a post announcing the birth of his twins.

While Sethi's career was marked by success and recognition, his life was reportedly impacted by personal struggles. It is a reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and support systems. Sethi's passing has left a void in the entertainment industry, and his fans, friends, and colleagues are mourning his loss.

Sethi’s final on-screen appearance was in the 2019 Telugu film 'iSmart Shankar' where he played Dharam. The science fiction action thriller stars Ram Pothineni in the titular role, alongside Satyadev Kancharana, Nabha Natesh, Nidhhi Agerwal, Ashish Vidyarthi and Raj Deepak Shetty in supporting roles.

Sethi will be remembered for his memorable roles and his contributions to the world of entertainment. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and entertainment that will continue to touch the hearts of many.
