Lauryn Goodman Opens Up About Kyle Walker Affair on Celebs Go Dating: 'I Don't Know If I Will Ever Forgive Him'

Lauryn Goodman is making her debut Celebs Go Dating appearance tonight, where she’ll be opening up about her turbulent relationship with footballer Kyle Walker.

Celebs Go Dating expert, Anna Williamson, said of her journey: “With Lauryn joining the show, she definitely joined at a time when there was a hell of a lot going on for her, externally. We are here, we’re an agency to work on peoples’ lives, their romance, their love lives, but it always starts from one’s self.”

But what exactly happened between the two of them? Well, let’s unpack this whole saga because there’s a lot to it.

Following infidelity issues Kyle Walker split from his wife Annie Kilner in 2019 and went on to have a brief fling with Lauryn during which their first child was conceived.

In April Lauryn gave birth to their first child, Kairo, whilst Kyle reconciled with his ex-wife and proposed to her in June, roughly two months after Lauryn gave birth. The two then proceeded to get married in secret in a small ceremony in November 2021.

Allegedly Kyle and Lauryn have a one-night stand despite her knowing he’d married Annie again and conceived their second child.

Lauryn publicly announces she’s pregnant with her second baby but doesn’t disclose who the father is.

Lauryn contacted Kyle’s wife Annie to tell her he’s also the father of her second baby, and explained at the time: “Kyle had denied she was his daughter many, many times. She kept asking for proof so I showed her the DNA test but even then she doubted it was real until I pointed out my daughter’s name on the paperwork.”

Annie decides to leave Kyle and as a result, he issued a public apology to her on Instagram, writing: “Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I’ve caused her. She’s been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children. I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times.”

In an interview with The Sun, he also stated: “What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions. I can’t begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through. I’ve tried to ask her but there’s pain and hurt. The only person to blame is me. I have roles and responsibilities that I’m aware of and I’ve made stupid choices. But I need to own up to my mistakes — I owe it to everyone.”

Kauryn proceeds to publicly reveal that Kyle is the father of her second child and he claims the pair never had a proper relationship. Lauryn then claimed on Instagram that he was a “pathological narcissist,” someone who spends their life “lying” and “gaslighting” those around them.

Lauryn takes Kyle to court as she requests extensive financial support from him. Her request is denied due to her being “unreasonable”, with the judge saying she treats him like an “open-ended chequebook.”

During her introduction for Celebs Go Dating, Lauryn explains why she wants to appear on the show, saying: “I used to be really fun, outgoing, confident, but I feel like a bit of a shell of myself. I’ve just had to deal with the bashes.”

“I am probably best known for having a pretty crazy love life – people probably think that I am a homewrecker and I go after peoples’ husbands but that couldn’t be further from the truth. That is why I joined the agency. I am just trying to find Lauryn again. I think now is the right time. It’s been four years.”

During a clip from tonight’s episode, Lauryn tearfully admits that she had no idea he was with his wife again when their second child was conceived. She said: “I’ve known Kyle since my early 20s, we were friends at the time – he’d always liked me. But I knew he had a girlfriend at the time. He kept everything very separate from her. It is 2019 and she’d kicked him out, he is not with her so I thought: ‘OK, why not?”
