A 36-year-old man has been charged with murder following a fatal house fire in Wolverhampton, police have confirmed.
Dale Francis, aged 36, from Basford, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with murder, four charges of attempted murder and a charge of arson with intent to endanger life.
This follows a fatal house fire on Plascom Road, East Park, in the early hours of 25 June.

The blaze resulted in the tragic death of 26-year-old Akashdeep Singh, who succumbed to his injuries after being transported to the hospital. In addition to Singh's death, several other individuals residing in the house suffered serious injuries during the incident.

Following his arrest, he was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on September 7th for an initial hearing.
