Manny Pacquiao left IShowSpeed on the canvas during a bizarre crossover sparring session. Pacquiao is one of boxing's legendary names having retired as an eight-weight world champion in 2021, and has recently been contemplating a comeback at the age of 45. While training in the Phillipines, 'PacMan' met high-profile streamer and American YouTuber IShowSpeed - real name Darren Jason Watkins Jr. The pair came face-to-face with several onlookers forming a ring and laced up their gloves in a surprise sparring session, which did not go well for the influencer.

He began by doing his trademark bark to the iconic boxer who stared him down before the pair began trading punches. Pacquiao hardly threw a punch against the social media sensation who began trying to land single shots on the veteran's body. Eventually he went wild and started throwing some wild hooks to the body which was met by roars from the crowd. It was initially met with no response from Pacquiao who grinned as the popular star went to work, but eventually he let go. As IShowSpeed stepped in for his latest shot, the Filipino cult hero unleashed a booming left hand to the midriff of the influencer. It was met by a huge roar from the crowd, as IShowSpeed immediately crashed to his back on the floor in agony. He lay starfished on his back clearly exhausted by the short day's work, but Pacquiao grinned and saluted the crowd who had gathered round the pair. It is not the first time sparring has ended badly for the influencer, who was also dropped in a session with British fighter KSI. The session was ended there and it was a lesson to not mess with a pro even if they are retired.

Pacquiao has sparked controversy of his own in recent weeks, with fans concerned by his most recent outing in an exhibition against Rukiya Anpo. He found it a huge struggle against the limited-experience Japanese star, who perhaps did enough to win despite the contest being unscored. But tthe squared circle great is still keen to press forward with attempts to return, and has held discussions with Mario Barrios over a potential world title shot before the end of 2025. Promoter Ben Shalom understands why he wants to return, but believes his career is best left in the past after his recent misdemeanours. He told talkSPORT.com: "I think it's so hard for fighters, you have seen it in the Olympics with athletes coming back. We've seen so many fighters come back, you always think back to Muhammad Ali and the damage that those last fights had on his life. It is very hard as a promoter to say it, but equally if you have enough money in the bank you have to protect your health. I think it showed in that exhibition that it really should be the end, but ultimately stranger things have happened. As I say fighters are addicted to that buzz and it is very hard to replace it in those final years."

During his trip to the Philippines, the YouTuber bravely decided to lace up the gloves and go toe-to-toe with one of the greatest fighters in boxing history. On a day he’ll never forget, IShowSpeed went head-to-head with Manny Pacquiao, and quickly found himself laid out on the floor. In a testament to his willingness to push the boundaries in the name of content, the American traded shots with a man who’s knocked out the likes of Ricky Hatton and Oscar De La Hoya. In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Speed got right in Pacquiao’s face and released his trademark bark, before engaging in a highly-anticipated spar. Clearly undeterred by what the social media star was bringing to the table, the Filipino allowed him to land several jabs to the body. The eight-weight world champion then marched forward, connecting with his own shots to the body, before covering up as Speed tried to fire back. Having negated the content creator’s attacks, Pacquiao unleashed a thunderous right hook that clearly hurt his opponent. But in a testament to his fighting spirit, Speed refused to give in, throwing everything he could to keep the icon away. Alas, it was to no avail. As the 19-year-old swang at fresh air, the combat sports legend loaded up on a left hook that sent his adversary crashing towards the canvas. As Speed lay on the floor like a starfish, the crowd rushed in to see if he was okay, which it seemed like he was, as the whole incident didn’t prevent him from uploading the video online.

Pacquiao, despite being retired, has sparked some controversy recently. He struggled in an exhibition bout against Japanese fighter Rukiya Anpo, who, despite having limited experience, may have done enough to win, though the match was unscored. Nonetheless, Pacquiao remains interested in a return to the ring and has reportedly discussed a potential world title fight with Mario Barrios by the end of 2025. Promoter Ben Shalom commented on Pacquiao’s potential return, acknowledging how difficult it is for athletes to stay retired. He drew parallels to Muhammad Ali and the toll late-career fights took on his health, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing well-being when financial security has already been achieved.

Manny Pacquiao is one of the greatest boxers of all time, so it's usually not a good idea to test your boxing skills against him, especially when you are a streamer. Pacquiao was met by IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., and decided to try out some friendly sparring. After letting the streamer land a few body shots, Pacquiao unleashed his own shot that immediately sent IShowSpeed crashing to the ground in a heap of pain. IShowSpeed has made multiple headlines in recent weeks for his athletic feats, most notable live streaming his leap over a Lamborghini. He also recently agreed to a 40-yard dash against Jake Paul with $25,000 being put on the line. While he certainly has athletic skills, the streamer should probably leave boxing to the pros.

FINALLY THE DAY has come! Darren Jason Watkins Jr. aka IShowSpeed finally fulfilled his dream of meeting up with Filipino boxing icon and legend Manny Pacquiao. Upon arriving to his residence, Speed immediately told Pacquiao: "You're my favorite boxer of all-time, favorite fighter of all-time." Speed took a tour around Pacquiao's house, which saw him marvel at the huge entourage inside the house. He was even stunned to see a gigantic bodyguard/tech guy inside the house, who looks as if he stands over six foot tall. As Speed went on with his tour, he wanted to challenge the Pacman himself. The American content creator wasn't fazed by the 39 knockout wins from the Filipino slugger. At first, he tested Pacquiao's jabs. What happened next? Speed was taken down. Pacquiao then gave Speed some warmup drills, and both decided to wear their gloves for some light sparring sessions. Speed was knocked out, and he struggled to regain his stance. His 'Speed' couldn't handle Pacquiao's firepower, who wasn't even at his fullest strength when he landed the knockout blow. Afterwards, Speed and Manny went to the dining area where the former received a very special gift from the Filipino slugger, a pair of signed gloves. Then he was taught by the Pacman how to eat balut. Before entering Pacquiao's residence, Speed tried balut on the streets, which ended up disastrous since he ate a whole egg from the beginning. With Pacquiao's guidance, Speed was able to appreciate the Filipino specialty. He even convinced his bodyguards to try balut. He even learned that Manny had to eat 10 baluts per day during training sessions.

It seems Speed has truly enjoyed his stay in Pacquiao's house and he even marvelled at its size. He admitted that Pacquiao's house is the biggest he has ever seen. From a secret room, to a tunnel leading to another house, to a basketball court, Speed was left floored by the Pacman's fortress. Speed even thought about purchasing Manny Pacquiao's Sentry vehicle which apparently costs more than his own Lamborghini. He was then astonished by Pacquiao's BMW motorcycle.
