A sprawling Massachusetts mansion that was the site of a gruesome murder-suicide has gone on the market for $4.2 million—with the property listing describing it as a “perfect family home.”

The 11-bedroom, 11.5-bathroom property in Dover, MA, was put on the market earlier this week, just eight months after its former owner, businessman Rakesh “Rick” Kamal, fatally shot his wife and their teenage daughter before turning the gun on himself.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the listing makes no mention of the property’s chilling history, instead focusing on the home’s many amenities and its picturesque surroundings.

“This home is seamlessly integrated into the idyllic, manicured grounds overlooking wooded hiking paths, bridle trails, and a tranquil pond in the extremely desirable Wilsons Way neighborhood,” it reads.

The description goes on to call attention to the mansion’s four-car garage, formal and informal dining rooms, newly renovated gourmet kitchen, library, and marble-topped wet bar.

“A perfect family home, this property offers a 14-seat home theater, relaxing family room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, 20X40 indoor pool, fully-equipped gym, sauna with a steam shower, extensive storage, and 5, 000 bottle wine cellar,” the listing adds.

The 27-room home, which was built in 2000, was purchased by Kamal and his wife, Teena, for $4 million in 2019, according to multiple reports.

On Dec. 28, 2023, just three days after Christmas, the businessman fatally shot his 54-year-old spouse and their 18-year-old daughter, Arianna, before killing himself.

Earlier this month, it emerged that the family—who appeared to the outside world as living an incredibly lavish and privileged lifestyle—had been buried in debt and were facing eviction from the property on the day of their deaths.

It is understood that Kamal’s younger sibling, Manoj Kamal, told police that his older brother owed him $150,000, the Boston Globe reported, and that the businessman had recently lost his home to foreclosure after failing to keep up with mortgage payments.

The outlet states that Kamal took out a $3.8 million loan on the home, which was meant to have been repaid by 2021.

Kamal reportedly left a note for the person who had been scheduled to pick up the keys, according to Fox News, informing them that they should “call the police” before entering the property.

He also noted that he had marked each of the bedrooms in which the bodies could be found with a sheet of paper.

“Please note,” the message read. “Before entering call the Police to first check three bedrooms on the second floor. Each room will be marked by a white sheet of paper.”

The 5-acre Dover estate that was the site of a tragic murder-suicide last year is now up for sale.

The lavish property at 10 Wilson’s Way is on the market for $4.2 million, according to a Zillow listing posted Monday. It was previously owned by Teena and Rakesh “Rick” Kamal, who lost it in foreclosure after failing to make mortgage payments. A few days after Christmas last year, when the family was due to move out, Rick Kamal shot and killed his wife and his teenage daughter Arianna in their bedrooms, before turning the gun on himself, according to police reports.

The listing describes the Colonial-style mansion as a “perfect family home,” with luxurious amenities including a gym, sauna, home theater, and a four-car garage. The estate is “seamlessly integrated” into the “extremely desirable” neighborhood of Wilson’s Way, according to the listing. Two open houses are scheduled this weekend.

The Kamals bought the 11-bedroom, 19,000-square-foot mansion on Valentine’s Day in 2019 for $4 million. The entrance to the property was adorned with a pair of lion statues and placards bearing the family name in gold.

The property was previously assessed at $6.79 million, according to Dover town records.

The mortgage on the property — a $3.8 million loan initially set to be paid in 2021 — became a major factor in Rick Kamal’s financial issues that authorities believe spiraled into the grisly murder-suicide.

Authorities who investigated the murder-suicide concluded that Rick Kamal’s wife, daughter, and extended family were not aware of the extent of his financial issues. In fact, some in his family even believed he was on the verge of buying another house, a $16.5 million lakefront property in Tennessee.

Thousands of items from the property, including furniture, oil paintings, and even a $3,400 pinball machine, were put up for auction in July, according to an online listing.

The Massachusetts mansion, where an entrepreneur father murdered his wife and teenage daughter before turning the gun on himself, hit the market this week and was billed as the “perfect home for entertaining.”

Rakesh Kamal, 57, fatally shot his 54-year-old wife, Teena, and 18-year-old Arianna during the horrific murder-suicide inside the sprawling Dover home on Dec. 28, 2023.

The family of three’s bodies were found inside the 11-bedroom, 12.5-bathroom estate by Rakesh’s brother Manoj.

The listing describes the home as an “exceptional, custom-designed estate on 5 acres perfectly situated at the end of a private cul-de-sac,” while making no mention of the brutal killings.

“This home is seamlessly integrated into the idyllic, manicured grounds overlooking wooded hiking paths, bridle trails, and a tranquil pond in the extremely desirable Wilsons Way neighborhood,” according to Realtor.com.

The single-family, 4-car garage dwelling on a “meticulously maintained” 19,000 square feet was built in 2000 and is going for $4.2 million

At the time of the murder-suicide, the mansion was estimated to be worth $5.45 million.

“A perfect home for entertaining, this property offers a 14-seat home theater, relaxing family room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, 20×40 indoor pool, fully-equipped gym, sauna with a steam shower, extensive storage, and 5, 000 bottle wine cellar,” the listing added.

“This estate is completed by multiple, sun drenched stone verandas showcasing peaceful views of the sweeping property.”

Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey called the area one of the richest in the state and “a nice neighborhood, a safe community.”

The couple appeared to have faced financial problems in recent years, according to online records viewed by The Post.

The family’s sprawling mansion went into foreclosure a year before the slayings and was sold to Massachusetts-based Wilsondale Associates LLC for $3 million, according to property records obtained by The Post.

The Kamals had purchased the estate for $4 million in 2019.

Rakesh Kamal is believed to have used a .40-caliber Glock 22 that wasn’t registered to him as the weapon was found inside the home.

He had amassed massive debt from the $3.8 million mortgage and a six-figure loan from a family member and a series of poor business deals in and out of the Boston area.

The software developer had borrowed $500,000 from his brother-in-law Sandeep Bedi and “a substantial sum of money” from his brother Manoj, two separate affidavits viewed by the Boston Globe claim.

The family was scheduled for eviction from the 27-room home on the day of their deaths.

Police entered the residence on Dec. 28 to respond to a 911 call and found a typed note addressed to the person who was scheduled to pick up the keys, according to the Boston Globe’s account of a 63-page police report.

“Please note,” it read. “Before entering call the Police to first check three bedrooms on the second floor. Each room will be marked by a white sheet of paper.”

Police found each of the bodies behind those demarcated doors.

Four days before her death, a fax signed by Teena Kamal was sent to Virginia-based life insurance company Genworth requesting a change to her $1.25 million life insurance policy, according to the Boston Globe.

Kamal sought to make her husband and daughter the primary while adding Rakesh’s brother, Manoj Kamal, as the contingent or backup beneficiary.

Since January, Manoj Kamal and Teena’s brother, Sandeep Bedi, have been entangled in a court battle as they uncover their siblings’ dark financial past.

Manoj had filed a claim with the life insurance company to collect the payout from the policy.

Bedi, who is administering his sister’s estate, had “raised concerns” with the company regarding the circumstances of the deaths and the change of beneficiary form.

A Massachusetts mansion where a wealthy businessman killed his wife and daughter before turning the gun on himself is being touted as the 'perfect family home' after hitting the market for $4.2million.

Rick and Teena Kamal bought the home in Dover on Valentine's Day 2019 for $4million. The couple, including their daughter Arianna, 18, would meet a tragic end inside the sprawling estate.

Rick, 57, fatally shot his wife, 54, and their daughter in their bedrooms before killing himself just days after Christmas. The family was due to move out after losing the home to foreclosure for failing to pay the mortgage.

The stunning 22-room mansion is described as a 'perfect family home' with a 'relaxing family room' and 'peaceful views,' according to real estate listings.

The listings make no mention of the home's grisly past.

'Exceptional, custom-designed estate on five acres perfectly situated at the end of a private cul-de-sac. This home is seamlessly integrated into the idyllic, manicured grounds overlooking wooded hiking paths, bridle trails, and a tranquil pond in the extremely desirable Wilson's Way neighborhood,' the listings read.

'A perfect family home, this property offers a 14-seat home theater, relaxing family room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, 20'x40' indoor pool, fully-equipped gym, sauna with a steam shower, extensive storage, and 5,000 bottle wine cellar.'

The home was built in 2000 and assessed at a value of nearly $6.8million, according to property records.

The Kamals took out a $3.8million loan on the home, which was set to be paid in 2021. The loan became a major issue for Rick Kamal, leading authorities to believe it factored into the murder-suicide, according to the Boston Globe.

Extended family was unaware of the financial issues and some even believed the family of three was planning on buying a $16.5million lakefront home in Tennessee, the Globe reported.

When officers arrived at the home after a 911 call, they found a typed message on a piece of paper that seemed to be intended for a person scheduled to retrieve the keys of the home.

The note read: 'Please Note, Before entering call the Police to first check three bedrooms on the second floor. Each room will be marked by a white sheet of paper.'

The bodies of all three were found inside the rooms.

The murders rocked the community, where Rick Kamal was considered to be a wealthy entrepreneur and doting father running a successful startup.

Following the deaths, it was revealed Rick had filed for bankruptcy and was served with a foreclosure notice just three months earlier.

Rick Kamal's younger brother, Manoj Kamal, told police he had loaned his sibling about $150,000, in roughly $5,000 increments, in the nine months before the killings.

Manoj also claims his brother drained their mother's bank account.

Police documents also revealed that while Teena Kamal was not fully aware of the extent of her husband's financial issues, she also felt significant pressure.

Manoj Kamal said she had recently made a troubling statement about wanting 'to drive their family car off a cliff due to the recent stress they were under.'

Rick Kamal's family confirmed that the veneer of perfection ran so deep even his wife and daughter had no idea they were drowning in debt.

The parents and their daughter were found dead by Manoj Kamal on December 28 - three weeks after a foreclosure notice was served on the 20,000-square-foot home.

It has since emerged that the mansion was bought with $3.8 million borrowed from the property's builder rather than a bank, with the money needing to be repaid within two years.

By 2021, interest and fines had spiraled out of control and foreclosure notices were served.

Even as the foreclosure was being processed, Teena Kamal was under the impression that the family was still moving forward with the purchase of a $16.5million chateau along Tennessee's Chickamauga Lake.

Listing agent James Perry said that Rick Kamal had provided bank statements proving his 'ability to purchase' the property. The family toured it, with Teena Kamal even starting to buy furniture. But a contract was never signed.

The huge 27-room mansion has gone up for sale for $4.2 million, but there has been no mention of the brutal murder-suicide that took place inside as the businessman killed himself and his family

The house described as "perfect for entertaining" has a dark and sinister history as it hits the market for $4.2 million (€3.8 million).

The impressive Massachusetts home boasts 11-bedroom and 12.5-bathroom, but it's also where businessman Rakesh Kamal, 57, fatally shot his 54-year-old wife, Teena, and 18-year-old Arianna during a horrific murder -suicide inside the huge Dover home on December 28, 2023.

The bodies were found by Rakesh's brother Manoj, as the entrepreneur shot himself after killing his family, but the house listing has no mention of the killings, and is instead described as an "exceptional, custom-designed estate on 5 acres perfectly situated at the end of a private cul-de-sac."

"This home is seamlessly integrated into the idyllic, manicured grounds overlooking wooded hiking paths, bridle trails, and a tranquil pond in the extremely desirable Wilsons Way neighbourhood," according to Realtor.com. It also comes with a four-car garage on its "meticulously maintained" 19,000 square feet estate.

Built in 2000, the Massachusetts mansion is being sold for $4.2 million, and at the time of the tragic murder-suicide, was estimated to be worth $5.45 million according to New York Post. "A perfect home for entertaining, this property offers a 14-seat home theatre, relaxing family room with a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, 20×40 indoor pool, fully-equipped gym, sauna with a steam shower, extensive storage, and 5, 000 bottle wine cellar," the listing added.

"This estate is completed by multiple, sun-drenched stone verandas showcasing peaceful views of the sweeping property." The area is described as one of the "richest in the state" and a "nice neighbourhood, a safe community" by Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey.

The Kamals bought the sprawling home for $ 4 million in 2019, but sadly the couple faced financial problems in recent years. The mansion went into foreclosure a year before the killings, and sold to Massachusetts-based Wilsondale Associates LLC for $3 million, according to property records obtained by The Post.

It's believed that Rakesh used a 40-caliber Glock 22 as the weapon which was found in the home, and wasn't registered to him. On the day of their deaths, the family had been ordered to evict the property as Rakesh had amassed a huge debt from the $3.8 million mortgage, as well as a six-figure loan from a family member.

There had also been a string of poor business deals which accounted for the financial struggles. It was claimed Rakesh, a software developer and entrepreneur borrowed $500,000 from his brother-in-law Sandeep Bedi and "a substantial sum of money" from his brother Manoj, two separate affidavits seen by the Boston Globe.

Police responded to a 911 call on December 28, and found a typed note addressed to the person scheduled to pick up the keys. According to the Boston Globe, the 63-page police report detailed what was on the note that read: "Please note, before entering call the Police to first check three bedrooms on the second floor. Each room will be marked by a white sheet of paper." Cops then found each of the bodies behind the marked doors.

Just four days before her death, The Globe also shared that Rakesh's wife Teena had requested a change to her $1.25 million life insurance policy. She sought to make her husband and daughter the primary and added Rakesh's brother Manoj Kamal as the contingent or backup beneficiary.

Now Teena's brother Sandeep Bedi and Manoj have been head to head in a court battle as they uncover their sibling' dark financial past and Manoj had filed a claim with the life insurance company to collect the payout from the policy.
