Both sides look to bounce back from defeats in this clash on the Côte d'Azur.
PSG will be hoping to go level on points with Ligue 1 leaders Monaco on Sunday as they take on midtable Nice at the Allianz Riviera.
The Parisiens come into this key fixture off the back of a midweek 2-0 Champions League defeat in London against English Premier League title challengers Arsenal.
Nice also had a European night to forget as they crashed to a stinging 4-1 defeat to Lazio in Rome in the Europa League.
Nice take on Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday, Oct. 6 at the Allianz Riviera, with kickoff set for 8:45 p.m. CET local time, making it a 7:45 p.m. BST start in the UK, a 2:45 p.m. ET or 11:45 a.m. PT start in the US and Canada, and a 4:45 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia early on Monday morning.
Where To Watch Nice vs PSG
Franck Haise's Nice are unbeaten at home so far this this season in Ligue 1.
US
Sunday's game is live on BeIn Sports, which holds broadcast rights for Ligue 1 matches in the US.
There are a number of options for watching BeIN. Several cable and satellite TV providers in the US offer the network as part of their channel lineup, including Dish Network, Optimum and Spectrum (the latter requiring $7 per month for the Sports View add-on).
If you're a cord-cutter, there's a whole host of streaming platforms that carry BeIN Sports.
With an excellent channel selection, easy-to-use interface and best-in-class cloud DVR, the $73 per month YouTube TV is one of the best cable TV replacements. In order to watch BeIN Sports on the platform you'll need its Sports Plus add-on, which costs an additional $11 per month. Read our YouTube TV review.
BeIN is available on Sling TV as part of its Sports Extra add-on for either Sling Orange or Sling Blue. Its Orange and Blue packages start at $40 per month, and you can combine them for a monthly rate of $55 ($60 in some regions), with Sports Extra costing an extra $11 a month. The Orange option nets you one stream, while Blue gives you three. It's not as comprehensive or as easy to navigate as YouTube, but with a bit of work, including adding an antenna or an AirTV 2 DVR, it's unbeatable value. We'll also add that the service offers local channels such as ABC and CBS in some regions where the monthly rate is $45. Read our Sling TV review.
There's a lot to like about Fubo. In addition to BeIN Sports, it offers a wide selection of channels, plus its sports focus makes it especially attractive to soccer fans, as well as NBA, NHL and MLB fans who live in an area served by one of Fubo's RSNs. It's also a great choice for NFL fans, since it's one of three services, alongside YouTube TV and Hulu, that offer NFL Network and optional RedZone. The biggest hole in Fubo's lineup is the lack of Warner Bros. Discovery networks, including HGTV, Food Network, Cartoon Network, CNN, TNT and TBS -- especially since the latter two carry a lot of sports content, in particular NBA, NHL and MLB. Those missing channels, and the $80 price tag, makes it less attractive than YouTube TV for most viewers. Read our Fubo review.
On top of this, BeIN Sports Connect is the network's standalone streaming platform. You can log in with your cable or streaming service credentials if your provider has BeIN in the package. This allows you to stream live matches and other programming on various devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops and so on).
Make sure to check if BeIN Sports is included in the specific package or plan you are considering, as it might be part of a sports bundle or require an additional subscription.
Using a VPN
If you find yourself unable to view Ligue 1 matches locally, you may need a different way to watch the games -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.
With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.
Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.
ExpressVPN is our current best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN, and it works on a variety of devices. It's normally $13 a month, but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100 you'll get three months free and save 49%. That's the equivalent of $6.67 a month with code SPECIALDEAL, which should be automatically applied.
Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Canada
As with the US, BeIN Sports is where it's at for fans of French soccer looking to watch this match in Canada, with the network holding the rights to broadcast Ligue 1 matches in the region this season.
BeIN Sports is available on select Canadian cable and satellite providers including Bell TV, Rogers and Shaw Direct, while cord-cutters can access BeIN through streaming service Fubo Canada.
Fubo is the go-to destination for Canadians looking to watch the final games of the EPL season, with exclusive streaming rights to every match on Sunday. It costs CA$30 a month, though you can save some cash by paying quarterly or annually.
UK
French football fans in the UK were left up in the air at the start of the season, following TNT Sport's decision not to renew broadcast rights for Ligue 1. There is now at last an option for watching games live, with dedicated streaming platform Ligue 1 Pass now up and running and showing today's game live.
French football fans can now watch every Ligue 1 game live on subscription streaming service Ligue 1 Pass. The service is priced at £10 per month, and can be accessed via the Ligue 1 Pass website. Dedicated apps for Apple and Android devices are set to become available for the service in the coming weeks.
Australia
No mainstream broadcaster currently owns the rights to show Ligue 1 football this season Down Under.
If you subscribe to an overseas streaming service that's showing the game, such as Fubo, a VPN service will allow you to change your online location, allowing you to watch your domestic coverage.
Preview
Both looking to respond following defeats on their continental travels earlier in the week, Nice and Paris Saint-Germain will lock horns for a Ligue 1 clash at Allianz Riviera on Sunday night.
Les Aiglons were beat heavily at the home of Lazio on Thursday night, whilst Les Parisiens suffered defeat at the hands of Premier League title challengers Arsenal on Tuesday.
Nice
Ending up in fifth position last term - four points behind Lille in the final Champions League spot - Nice have been forced to settle for Europa League football during the 2024-25 season, with Sunday's hosts making a less-than-ideal start to life in UEFA's second-tier club competition.
A 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad on matchday one represented a respectable result, but Les Aiglons suffered their heaviest defeat of the season to date on Thursday night, when a brace from Valentin Castellanos helped Lazio to a 4-1 victory at a rainy Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Focusing on Ligue 1 matters, both of Nice's two domestic wins this campaign have arrived against the division's basement dwellers Angers and Saint-Etienne, meaning that Franck Haise's troops are yet to grind out a notable result from their opening eight competitive fixtures.
That being said, Les Aiglons should be relatively confident heading into this weekend's clash with the champions considering their form at Allianz Riviera, with the four-time Ligue 1 winners unbeaten in three matches at the venue across all competitions in 2024-25.
With star marksman Terem Moffi sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury until early April, Nice are relying on a host of their other attacking options to collectively step up to the goalscoring plate, with the likes of Evann Guessand, Youssoufa Moukoko and Jeremie Boga all capable of causing PSG problems on Sunday.
PSG
After navigating their first seven matches of the 2024-25 schedule unscathed, PSG witnessed their unbeaten streak end at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, when Mikel Arteta's Arsenal secured a two-goal success courtesy of efforts from Kai Havertz and England sweetheart Bukayo Saka.
Speaking in purely Ligue 1 terms, Les Parisiens are still on for an invincible campaign after five wins and a draw from their opening six contests of the domestic calendar, meaning that they sit at the top of the pile, level on points with second-placed Marseille and Monaco in third.
Shouldering the goalscoring burden at the top end of the pitch for PSG since the departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid over the summer, Bradley Barcola has netted six goals in as many Ligue 1 matches so far, despite scoring on just five occasions across all competitions in 2023-24.
There also needs to be a shoutout for recent arrival Joao Neves, who has slotted seamlessly into Les Parisiens' midfield during the opening weeks of the term, providing five assists during six league appearances, completing a formidable engine-room trio alongside Euro 2024 winner Fabian Ruiz and French prodigy Warren Zaire-Emery.
Team News
Nice remain without the services of winger Gaetan Laborde, with the 30-year-old expected to be sidelined until early November due to a broken foot.
Les Aiglons are also unable to call upon the talents of full-back Melvin Bard, who played four Ligue 1 matches this season before picking up a thigh injury.
PSG are battling on without Portugal international Goncalo Ramos, with the heir to Cristiano Ronaldo's position for his nation recovering from an ankle issue.
Suffering a cruciate ligament injury during the Champions League semi-final defeat to Borussia Dortmund in May, Lucas Hernandez is targeting a return to action in the New Year.
Les Parisiens are short of options at centre-back due to the absence of Presnel Kimpembe, who is yet to kick a competitive ball for the visitors this season.
Predicted Lineups
Nice possible starting lineup:Bulka; Ndayishimiye, Bombito, Dante; Clauss, Rosario, Ndombele, Louchet; Guessand, Boga, Moukoko
Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup:Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Neves, Zaire-Emery, Ruiz; Muani, Barcola, Lee
Prediction
PSG will be hurting after their defeat at Arsenal earlier in the week, and we reckon that Les Parisiens should have enough firepower to respond with a comfortable victory at Allianz Riviera. For data analysis of the most likely results, scorelines and more for this match please click here.
Ousmane Dembele is Back## Ousmane Dembl is back with Paris Saint-Germain after he was left out from the squad that lost 2-0 to Arsenal in the Champions League midweek.
PSG coach Luis Enrique was criticized after the loss for not selecting Dembl, one of the most creative players in the team following the departure of Kylian Mbapp to Real Madrid.
Dembl was selected in a group of 21 players named by Enrique traveling to Nice on Sunday night. PSG can move back to the top of the French league standings with a win.
Enrique had blamed Dembl for a perceived lack of commitment from the France forward but did not give more details. He denied he had a personal argument with him after L'Equipe reported the duo verbally clashed following PSG's 3-1 win against Rennes in the French league last weekend. Dembl had an assist in the match.
There is just a problem of commitment toward the team, it's not a problem between the player and the coach, Enrique said through a translator.
PSG traveled to London with 22 players but without Dembl, who has been a key element in PSG's unbeaten start to the season. In six Ligue 1 matches, Dembl has scored four goals and added three assists.
I took the best possible decision, Enrique said, adding he was supported in his choice by the club director.
Enrique's other options up front to cover Dembl include Randal Kolo Muani and Dsir Dou.
Other players will be able to take over, PSG right back Achraf Hakimi said. The most important thing in the team is the group, and our group is united.
