A Sportier Smart #3 with BRABUS Individualization Program

For more than two decades, from internal combustion engines and now into the all-electric era, the longstanding partnership between smart and BRABUS continues. Following the comprehensive renewal of the smart brand and based on a shared love of pioneering automotive design and performance, the historic partners created the smart #1 and #3 BRABUS, wowing the world twice in two years and receiving rave reviews from performance car enthusiasts all over the globe. Now, BRABUS has gone one step further to answer fans’ and customers’ calls for more. The world's largest independent automotive refinement specialist and exclusive supercar manufacturer is giving the most powerful and fastest smart cars of all time, #1 and #3 BRABUS models, an even more exceptional 1-Second-WoW experience with an all-new individualization program.

Sporty Elegance and Unmistakable Styling

Both the #1 and #3 BRABUS are designed to deliver a “1-Second-Wow” effect in terms of power, performance and looks. Entirely in line with the “Black and Bold” motto, BRABUS designers created a sportily styled array of aerodynamic-enhancement components for both models. The BRABUS front spoiler and the two winglets at the left and right in combination with the BRABUS front fascia inserts for the side air intakes give the #1 BRABUS an even more striking face. Aerodynamic enhancements perfected in the wind tunnel reduce front-axle lift at high speeds thanks to their sophisticated shape, while the BRABUS rear spoiler ensures an optimal aerodynamic balance. The thrilling look of the #1 BRABUS is complemented in athletic style by the new BRABUS rear fascia insert.

The BRABUS Roof Spoiler Serves as an Additional Aerodynamic Component

A BRABUS front spoiler attached to the lower part of the bumper in concert with the front fascia attachments for the side air intakes gives the #3 BRABUS an even more dynamic appearance. These also serve to reduce front-axle lift at high speeds, resulting in further enhanced handling stability. The BRABUS roof spoiler was developed to serve as an additional aerodynamic component, attaching to the top of the liftgate. Yet another sporty design element is the diffuser-look BRABUS rear fascia insert.

“PLATINUM EDITION” with Wheels with a Diameter of 21 inches for More Exclusivity

Ten-spoke Monoblock Z wheels also play a crucial role in the thrilling BRABUS looks. For those looking for even more exclusivity, BRABUS offers the same striking design in a “PLATINUM EDITION” with a diameter of 21 inches. Meanwhile, the BRABUS sports springs lowers the ride height of each vehicle by 35mm, offering a sportier, more engaging driving experience.

An Exclusive Interior for a Sporty Experience

Both exteriors and interiors of #1 and #3 BRABUS are equally refined, with exclusive BRABUS styling that adds a premium touch. Exclusive design elements such as scuff plates with a backlit BRABUS logo, high-quality black velour floor mats and trunk liner, both featuring a red embroidered BRABUS logo, as well as piping and decorative seams in the same colour add further sporty accents. Even more stunning are the aluminium pedals, exemplifying coolness and reminding the driver of the vehicle’s mechanical beauty—a performance machine capable of unleashing raw power in BRABUS mode at any time.

A Bold Statement of Style and Performance

As smart continues to push the boundaries of future mobility, the continuing partnership with BRABUS ensures that customers never have to compromise on style or performance in their pursuit of sustainable solutions. The BRABUS approach transforms the smart #1 and #3 from urban-oriented mobility solutions into performance-oriented ‘sporty’ models that cater to enthusiasts looking for a more dynamic and exciting driving experience, guaranteeing “1-Second-Wow” charm.

A Deeper Dive into BRABUS's New Individualization Program for the Smart #3

While BRABUS is normally known for over-the-top customizations of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, another brand related to Mercedes-Benz that BRABUS is known for giving its signature spin to is Smart. BRABUS has created iconic custom cars based on the classic Smart car, as well as the Smart Roadster and other new models. Most recently, however, BRABUS has created a new Individualization Program for the Smart #3, the brand’s new small, all-electric coupe SUV model.

Imbuing the nimble electric city car with its signature “1-Second-Wow” effect, the new BRABUS-customized Smart #3 features a body kit, custom wheels, a revised interior, and more. The body kit enhances the car’s look, giving it a distinctly sportier feel. It also enhances its aerodynamic performance, reducing front axle lift at high speeds. With ten-spoke Monoblock Z wheels, customers can choose between the dramatic look of a 20-inch or 21-inch set.

The suspension of the Smart #3 can be revised with the new Individualization Program, as well. BRABUS provides a set of sports springs, lowering the ride height of the car by 1.4 inches and working in harmony with the car’s OEM shock absorbers. The interior is also available with BRABUS refinements, ranging from sill plates with backlit BRABUS logos to new floor mats, a velour trunk liner, and aluminum pedal pads for a sportier feel. If you want a practical compact electric car but refuse to let it be boring, BRABUS provides its signature head-turning effect in a small Smart car package.

Turning Heads: BRABUS's 'Extra Dose of Brabusness' for the Smart #3

The Smart #3 Brabus may be the performance flagship of the fully electric coupe SUV range, but who says it can’t turn a few more heads? Enter German tuner Brabus, revealing a suite of optional components that promise to crank up both the road presence and aerodynamics of the hot SUV.

Unlike the recent tuning kit for the Smart #1, which was designed for the entire lineup, this extra dose of “Brabusness” is reserved exclusively for the Smart #3 Brabus. Up front, a bold splitter takes center stage, purportedly reducing front-axle lift at high speeds—perfect for when you’re in a hurry to impress.

The splitter is paired with sporty extensions on the bumper intakes, making them look even more aggressive. Out back, Brabus has slapped on a larger spoiler and a rear fascia insert mimicking a diffuser, all crafted from high-grade PUR synthetic material to ensure OEM quality.

Another standout upgrade is the set of 21-inch Brabus Monoblock Z Platinum Edition alloy wheels, a step up from the stock 20-inchers. These wheels come wrapped in 255/35 ZR21 tires from your choice of Continental, Hankook, or Yokohama. If you’re feeling less adventurous, Brabus also offers the same design in a more modest 20-inch size.

To complete the look, Brabus offers sports springs that lower the Smart #3 by 35 mm (1.4 inches), giving it a hunkered-down stance that screams hot hatch rather than off-roader—let’s face it, this thing won’t be tackling any trails.

As expected, there are no changes on the fully electric powertrain. The Smart #3 Brabus still packs dual electric motors delivering a combined 422 hp (315 kW / 428 PS) and 543 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque, powered by a 66 kWh battery pack. This setup launches the SUV from 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in a brisk 3.7 seconds.

Finally, the tuner offers “refinement options” for the interior. These include aluminum pedals, illuminated side sills, floor mats, and a velour cargo mat—all proudly bearing the Brabus logo.

All of the exterior and interior upgrades for the Smart #3 Brabus are listed on the tuner’s official website, with pricing available upon request.

The BRABUS Smart #3: More Attitude and Style for the Electric SUV

Want to make your Smart #3 look a bit more like it’s got an attitude problem? Brabus has just released a new kit for the mini SUV, featuring various external bolt-on parts and a light interior revamp.

Perched on top of a new set of 20/21in multicolour centre lock alloys, the #3 will gain a slick new face featuring new side air intakes, an open wound on its bonnet and an extended front lip. That lip extension continues along the flanks and the rear, with the tailgate also receiving a curvy new wing for company.

Aside from the new sports springs - which lower the ride height by about an inch and a half - no other significant mechanical changes are listed as part of the package. That body kit should at least mean a bit less lift and a lot more aero, though.

The Brabusification continues inside too, with a plethora of new logos highlighting that this is, in fact, not a standard #3. Aluminium pedal pads and red stitching also form part of the new cabin, while new scuff plates with backlighting and extra velour across the boot liner complete the notable changes.

No guide prices have been issued just yet for either individual parts or the entire package, but expect that to change in the coming months.
