Iconic 80s synth-pop duo Soft Cell is set to make their long-awaited Australian debut in 2025, kicking off at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Thursday, April 10, before continuing to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Presented by Destroy All Lines, the tour will feature Marc Almond and David Ball performing their groundbreaking album Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret alongside a selection of their greatest hits. In addition, fans will be treated to a special set from Almond, who will showcase highlights from his remarkable 45-year solo career.

Almond, who pursued a solo career after Soft Cell’s initial split in 1984, also expressed excitement about his own performance. “To perform both as Marc Almond with my solo hits and then transform into Soft Cell on the same night will be another first. Everyone tells me Australians love to party, and it promises to be something very special.”

Soft Cell shot to international fame in the early 1980s with hits like Tainted Love, Bedsitter and Say Hello, Wave Goodbye, leaving a lasting impact on synth-pop and alt-pop. With six UK Top 10 singles and a BRIT Award to their credit, their work has influenced artists such as Pulp, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys and more.
