Stacey Solomon, the popular British TV personality, is still in shock after being asked by Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon to host a new UK show called 'Renovation Rescue'.
The show, which will be produced by Witherspoon's production company, Hello Sunshine, will see Solomon helping couples who have been abandoned by untrustworthy tradespeople.
Solomon, who is known for her love of DIY and home improvement, said she was honored to be asked by Witherspoon to host the show.
“Oh my God, what an amazing feeling to be asked,” Solomon told MailOnline. “I was genuinely like, ‘How does she even know me?’ I still to this day don't know how they found me. They just said they wanted me. Maybe some of her researchers and her team had seen the show. Well, they would have had to, I guess, to know anything about me.”

“It's not about losing the money, it's the psychological impact because you lose trust, self-worth.”

“If you're not comfortable with something, don't do it,” Solomon said. “There are plenty of other builders out there.”
